Plumbing Detectives was right on time and did the work in a very professional manner. We used them on a stopped up drain on an a/c unit and replacement of an anode rod on our hot water heater.Due to prior plumbing, the jobs were more challenging than usual. In addition this occurred over the Memorial day weekend.Dan, our plumber, figured everyone out and made sure the install was done correctly.They charge a very reasonable price for quality work.

Referred to this company by two neighbors that used them before. They did a great job for me on the hot water heater, also had them do my washer and dryer service box. Workmanship was phenomenal, experience was clearly evident in the quality of their work. Never thought contractors would leave the house cleaner than the way they found it, but these guys did. I’m not one to post a review but in this case I had to. I had called Mike to redo my bathroom then came to find that he lived in the same community as me (which is strange since it’s a 55+ community) and I pretty much went off of his google reviews . What a huge mistake !!! I paid for a $10k bathroom but $1.50 worth of quality work. I wasn’t living in the home at the time and I even had Mike more work for me. Then I was there for a few months and that everything started falling apart. I had to call Aztec plumbing in and it took them 3 days to fix everything. They said they’ve never seen such poor workmanship and lack of basic plumbing knowledge. It wasn’t until that happened that I did some investigating and googled his name Michael J Reynolds that I discovered that he wasn’t even licensed at the time and only recently got his license. Also he has 3 or 4 different businesses linked to him. B&R plumbing, bandrwaterheatersevice, B and R baths, MJR plumbing services etc. and numerous phone numbers.First in fort myers now in Venice. Very very shady

I called about an update for our water heater and Mike promptly scheduled a look at our location. In a few days he was back with the new heater and the hot water recirculation pump we requested in addition. Installation took just a few hours.Mike even returned to correct an issue caused by the original builder who reversed the hot and cold lines at the bathroom sink.I would call Plumbing Detectives for work in the future.
