I would highly recommend Eight 83 Plumbing. They fixed an issue with water pressure some time ago and recently solved an ongoing (years) roof leak in our sun room. And they are nice lads, we will have them back next time some plumbing work is needed.

I was really nervous cause this was the first time I had needed a plumber and was worried about cost etc. I had called a bunch of places and felt like I was falling on deaf ears cause they weren’t willing to be transparent or helpful at all. Then I came across Eight83 and carol on the phone was fantastic. I felt very heard and reassured. Then I had Sam and Jarnah come out to take a look at my dishwasher and they were very lovely, again transparent and extremely understanding and helpful. Sam took the time to explain everything throughly and walk me through my options for what to do with my dishwasher as well as breaking down costs, etc. Would highly recommend them if you’re a nervous person like me who just needs someone who reassures.

My bathroom had filled with water while I was out. My plunger was no match for the rising water.Daniel arrived when he promised. And just in time! He put a water jet down an overflowing pipe and cleared the blockage. The sound of water draining from the house was such a relief!Daniel sent a camera all the way down the pipes. He explained the likely cause and duration of the blockage and how to avoid it in the future.He even gave me a discount.Professional, friendly and recommended.

I had a urgent water repair between xmas and new year after calling many others who were not answering even though they advertised they were open over this period i found eight83 plumbing.This locally owned family plumbing business were amazing from first contact they were able to find a time to attend, they kept me informed on arrival time and were super efficient and professional. They gave me an estimated cost prior to work being carried out and kept me informed during the work. I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.

Eight 83 responded quickly and responsively to a potentially serious leak, very early in the morning during the ‘break’ (for some) between Christmas and New Year’s. The crew was on site when they said they would be, and assessed and repaired the broken outdoor tap immediately, at a reasonable price. While we hope not to need their services again soon, we will keep their number handy. We heartily recommend Eight 83 to anyone with urgent plumbing needs.

Carol and Brendan were both really good to talk to. Listened to what we needed done and organised to come to do the job without any waiting or delay. Brendan fixed the urgent problem (issue with the tap for the evaporative cooler which, given the heat, was essential! ) and he was also able to source and install new tap warehouse for the laundry during the same day - this was something we'd been talking about for months (the old taps were 30 years old). Definitely our 'go to' plumbers of choice now.

Our old gas hot water system started ejecting unusually hot water just before the weekend. Called a few plumbers to get an idea of what the culprit was and what the cost may be. Was considering replacing the system, but Daniel said he could have someone out later in the day to take a look. Brandon was out in a few hours, diagnosed a faulty release valve, we discussed options to either replace system or fix, decided to fix. Turns out temperature sensor was also busted and needed replacing. Brandon also checked taps throughout the house, fixed a few that had really low pressure, and replaced some under sink hoses that were showing signs of rupturing (browning is an early warning sign). System was back up and running in a few hours, with some extra issues sorted. Really happy with the result, would recommend Daniel and the boys to anyone in need of plumbing services.
