I’ve visited the Beauty Parlour 3 times previously and had a great spray tan, unfortunately I experienced the worst tan and service last week. I was welcomed by a friendly, professional beautician and popped into the booth to be sprayed, all was fine until she finished and had left the booth to serve another Customer. I could see large triangle areas under my arms were completely missed and showed the beautician upon leaving the booth. She wanted me to pop back later to rectify but she had forgotten our conversation, I was flying later and therefore this wasn’t possible. I took some spray tan home for me to apply at home. I noticed once home that large areas of my legs were also completely missed. I used the tan solution in a spray and had to apply from home. The end result was beyond awful. I had an embarrassing weekend away. I emailed to complain and attached pictures to show the missed areas… I received a reply from a manager, explaining that dry skin can cause opaque patches and offered 20% off my next visit! I reiterated it wasn’t because of dry skin, it was completely missed under arm areas and leg areas and referred back to my pictures I’d sent as evidence. I eventually received another email from a different manager to explain that she’d referred to yet another manager and that they agreed I should have a full refund for the spray tan and asked if I wanted to go ahead with the refund . I replied with further details about the end result of the tan, thanked her for looking into it and agreeing to the refund. I then received an email to explain that as the salon is in transition they couldn’t offer a card refund and I’d have to come back into the salon for a cash refund!!! So I had to go out of my way to receive a cash refund and was offered no face to face apology from Ella, one of their managers while doing this! She ended the conversation with “see you soon!” I would have done a better job of my tan at home. Beyond disappointed in the salons ability and service! Less

This time we travelled to her salon and specifically requested Claire. She was great with my daughter and her ears were pierced so expertly and quickly. Again they seemed to heal well (first lobes). Loved the ear piercing device she used, for me it was much better than needle which can actually be quite irritating and painful when removing the needle to put in the earrings. Perfect for my daughter also who didn’t cry.. just a quick ouch and it was over. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Claire/her salon (as her team is trained by Claire, I’m just particular and wanted Claire!) for any piercing including children and babies… when we were at the salon, she had just pierced a young baby girl, under 1 who wasn’t crying or fussing when her parents were paying! The therapist was running behind so rushed my pedicure resulting in my left foot still having cracked dry skin on my heel. Was left in the hands of the receptionist to let me know when I could leave as was waiting for my polish to dry but she didn’t bother so had to ask. When asking why the hard skin was left on one foot, apparently I needed to pay more for the deluxe pedicure!!! Then I go home t... More
