First time using this mechanic for my car service. Feel a bit cheated honestly. Booked in for standard service ($189) and agreed the cost over the phone during appointment booking as I was only after that service offering, nothing else. After drop off, receicved a call saying X needed to be fixed. Again, price was given over the phone and I accepted as I confirmed $189 as I assumed he was talking about things already agreed upon (minor service). On pick up turns out the 'what needed to be fixed' was outside of the standard service which was not clearly explained or communicated properly. Bill ended up being $796! I queries the cost at payment and the man chuckled. Afterpay or similar was not available. $796 is a big difference compared to $189. In this cost of living crisis, I am so disappointed that businesses are taking full advantage. Overall, won't be going back or recommending this mechanic unfortunately as I feel I was financially taken advantage of and unnecessary service offerings were performed. Less

Good, responsive and honest mechanic. I found them by looking for one that opens on Saturdays. They are quite responsive and will explain what needs fixing and replacing and what can wait. Good value for money. Less
