Before joining the Hand Crafted Network, I was dubious it was possible to build a successful custom furniture company. By seeing Paul's example, and the example of incredible makers from all over the country, I now know it's possible. If that were the end of the value from the Hand Crafted Network, I'd say it was worth it; however, it's proven to be immensely valuable to figure out things like sales, operations, advertising, and seeing how other companies do it. This is a great community of makers, woodworkers, etc. in the industry doing the work. There are a variety of people in this group. Everywhere from people trying to go full time to people who have been in business with a lot of years of success. It’s great to get all of those people in the same room and to have access to them. Everyone has great ideas and it comes directly from their own experience. This group isn’t filled with a bunch of people giving advice that don’t get the woodworking industry. These are folks who are in the weeds in business and offering tips, tricks and really good business advice. The community here is invaluable to our business. Less
