Lighthouse Jiu-Jitsu Academy maybe new but these coaches (Jibril and Farris) have been around for years. My son was with them before they got their black belts at a previous gym (over 4 years). When they made the move to start Lighthouse it was a no brainer to go with them. If you’re looking for high level coaching to up your game for competitions or just looking to get in shape while learning Jiu-Jitsu, this is the place for you. They are more than just Jiu-Jitsu coaches. They truly care about their students and do so much more to help them grew into young men/women. You will see them bring things out of you children that no other coaches could or have. If you are on the fence about joining, don’t be, you won’t regret it.

We started at this gym years ago when my kids were little. When the one-hour commute got tough and I tried switching gyms, my kids refused to start somewhere else. Now that they’re older and driving and the gym moved closer, we're excited to be coming back home!Coach Jibril started training as a toddler with his dad. Now he's like a giant teddy bear. And Coach Nuzmeya may be tiny but she is mighty!

Excellent, affordable, black-belt level training for all ages. Personally have known Coach Jibril for many years now. Wouldn’t want to be at any other gym.
