They have helped us out not only with quarterly services but any time we've had an emergency issue they have been out there quick and done such a phenomenal job. Tried calling to inquire about an estimate about rodent removal & a crawl space waterproof and the response from the lady was offering me a spray for bugs outside my house…. Extremely frustrating conversation.

I paid $1000 last August for fire ant control for the year. Over the winter I didn’t need follow up service but the beginning of spring I started calling for the abundance of mounds coming up in my yard.My first issue was they came and wanted me to show them where the mounds were. I paid them a thousand dollars and I have a little less than an acre. That is not service. There were so many mounds that they really should have retreated the entire yard.My second issue is the next time they cameHe just ended up giving me the granuals because the grass was too high.This was the worst service by a pest control company I’ve ever experienced.Then I asked them to dust in my crawl spaces because I didn’t want to have pest control spray inside my house. I do not have bugs inside but wanted the prevention of ants and such.After 3 months of back and forth and them telling me the little puddle of water in my large crawl space prevents them from dusting under my house. Instead of being men and figuring it out. They did a moisture barrier evaluation which was mandatory for them to spray under my house. H and H never resolved my issue, never got back to me about other options for treating the crawl space and really did not care about doing a terrible half assed job with my yard or losing my business.I read reviews from the FB group what’s up Shelby about pest control service in the area. Clearly, H and H isn’t the company it used to be or they had different service technicians that could trouble shoot and get the service done right for the customer.I am very disappointed, I didn’t want to give up on them but I think six months is plenty of time to give for them to solve a small issue. When I called today to express my concerns the guy who answers and schedules folks had no sense of urgency to help solve my issues. I assume they could care less about losing business. Get it together H and H.

About a week or so ago I noticed Carpenter Ants climbing a pillar out front. I called H & H and informed them about the situation and they informed me that they would "send the best guy". He came out and was clearly aware of the situation. He went back to his H&H truck to get a ladder. He brought back a stepping stool. Keep in mind that the Ants were about 9-10 feet up. The man that they sent was around 60 yrs old, 110 lbs, about 5ft 5in tall and with his stepping stool (at 6ft 2in) I was still taller than he was. So very quickly he realized that his stepping stool was not going to do the job. So I had to go outback and find him a ladder that he could use. After we finally got the ladder out front, he climbed up, sprayed bug spray (what I would imagine was very similar to the can of raid that we had out and could have used) in the crevices around the top of the pillar. It took probably 5-10 minutes total. It took far longer getting out our ladder or having to put it back after he finished. While I will say that the man was very courgal and respectfull, I think $150 for what was done seems a bit high. Perhaps I expected him to do more and maybe $150 to spray some bugs spray is the going rate but I can't imagine 10 minutes of labor and some bug spray costing $150.
