[Warning: Long Review] I am in my early 40s with littles and I used eating as my coping mechanism for all the things. After a year of dieting and working out in ways that had been successful for decades, nothing was working. I was desperate to find a quick solution to get me started because my willpower was waning and the scale kept increasing. Then I found Total Wellness Weight Loss Center on google.Scheduling was super quick and easy and Coach Star was welcoming and informative from the beginning.After the first session, I had to sign up. Coach didn’t sell me on anything, but was real with me that because I had a lot of weight I wanted to lose red light wouldn’t do all the work for me, and I had to put in the work too if I wanted to see results fast with her partnership.In the first two months, I lost 20lbs with ease through red light and the diet program, but then it got harder and my progress stalled. Coach gave me hard truths. Red light could melt fat and shape my body, but to continue to see results I had to be better at following her coaching like drinking half my body weight in water, eating 6 times a day, moving regularly. I was trying shortcuts like skipping meals, chugging my water, walking every other day, trying to get out of plateaus through my old tactics like simply eating less calories or doing intermittent fasting. Coach was there to encourage me to stick to the program and assured me that my experiences were all part of the process. She helped me to course-correct by looking at my numbers on a regular basis and discussing my practices during our sessions. Sure enough the weight continued to drop and I went from XXL to S/M again, obese to healthy. My 7-yo son even noticed, “Mom! Did you just lose hella weight?! Your butt got smaller!”In the first few months, I didn’t believe her when she said I would not want to eat the way I’ve been my entire life, but it happened. I started craving vegetables, enjoying foods with less salt and sugar and eating smaller portions without trying. I built less tolerance for all the things I loved like boba, alcohol, burgers, pizza. I still eat those things, but not often because the power they had over me is gone and my body quickly rejects the unhealthy things I try to eat resulting in headaches, brain fog or sluggishness.While it’s been several months and almost 40lbs later, I realized Coach Star helped me with more than just losing weight:My metabolic age has lowered from 65 to 29 years.My energy has increased.My sleep has improved.My bloodwork showed lower cholesterol and triglycerides.My immune system has gotten stronger where I have barely gotten sick since starting.I learned a lifetime of healthy habits like learning correct portion sizes, hydrating properly, and how to eat intuitively.Most importantly - mindset shift. I have more mental freedom because those healthy habits are engrained into my thinking and have become daily practices.Working with Coach Star has been transformational! Not only is she very knowledgeable and an expert in helping her clients with weight loss, pain management, etc., she is also one of the kindest human beings on the planet. Her positive energy, kind but tough coaching, red light therapy, massage, diet plan program, vitamins, the community of supportive clients she has cheering you on...has helped me gain control over my life in a way I have never felt before.
