I called on Monday to get an appointment for Wednesday at 9 AM. The lady in charge said she had 9 or 9:30 available, and I opted for 9. She said, “Okay, I will see you there.” I arrived at 8:55 and didn’t see anyone in the building, so I called. She told me that I had to wait until 9:30, and I saw her sitting in the parking lot in her gray car. I waited patiently and went in when she called me, saying she “doesn’t see me.”I explained to her what I wanted, and she tried to charge me $300 when the style is $280. She didn’t begin braiding until 10:15. She proceeded to part my hair and put in two rows of braids before stopping and having two other girls take over. She did not communicate to them that I had asked for small knotless braids. When they both left, one to eat and the other to tend to her child, I took a picture of the back of my head. The parts were unclean and different sizes.The lady in charge, who was working on a walk-in client, asked me what was wrong. I explained to her what I was seeing, and she immediately got loud with me and continuously talked over me. Then she called me broke and rude and said that she didn’t have to do my hair and that she would not be forced to. Mind you, she wasn’t even doing my hair at the time.I have been coming here since 2024 and haven’t had too many issues before, but I am done. I have always tried to be patient and understanding, but the way I was treated when I simply expressed a concern was completely unacceptable. They are unprofessional, unsanitary, and rude.
