I recently stayed at Vishnu Grand in Vellore for two days during a business trip. The hotel is clean and conveniently located, especially since we had meetings in Arcot.On the day of checkout, we left our luggage at the reception as we had a meeting and planned to collect it later in the evening before catching our night bus.What truly shocked and disappointed me was the complete lack of basic hospitality. After staying for two days, I returned at night and politely requested a room for just 10 minutes to refresh myself before my bus. I was even ready to pay for those 10 minutes. However, the hotel staff outright refused without any consideration.For a hotel that claims to provide professional service, this kind of rigid and insensitive behavior is unacceptable. A small gesture of courtesy could have made a big difference. Instead, I was forced to use the common washroom near the reception to change and freshen up.This experience has left a very poor impression. Hospitality is not just about clean rooms; it is about how guests are treated. Unfortunately, this was truly disappointing and reflects poorly on the hotel’s service standards. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their approach toward guests.
