I didn't feel like it was any "requested" specific landscaping. We just needed a small area cleared up that was overgrown with volunteer trees, weeds, and a few hidden hostas we found among all the unnecessary foliage. They saved the hostas for us, but everything else was chopped down. Then they proceeded to cover it over with brown mulch. They did a similar area in the same condition in our back yard. They were willing to chop everything down in my flower bed just starting to come up, but I said no. They did put more of the brown mulch in that area too. They did need a lot of time for 2 men with shovels to get it ready for the mulch. That was about 7-8 hours, and when we got the bill, it seemed a lot more than we thought our estimate was for. Unfortunately we are getting too old to deal with this type of lawn work & we glad they took care of it, but a bit shocked how much we paid for it when it really wasn't "landscaping" as I would think they were doing. Thanks for the time you spent.
