Potter Fence

11/26/25 Update: after 4 months my dog continues to bend the fence and gets out. I sent a message to the company and the owner, Mr. Potter, came out and we talked about an additional fix. I appreciated the owner taking the time to address the concerns I am having with my dog bending the fence and getting out as well as the lack of communication at the beginning. Thank you Mr. Potter for carrying enough to take time to listen. The company overall does a good job. The fence from a distance looks great. We signed our quote in April, did not receive the ability to put a down payment until end of May (they forgot to send it to us). Due to no fault of ours (put on install list when down payment received), we were put at the end of the installation list (5 weeks out). The company did not communicate at all to give us a projected time or what was going on. I finally sent an email on a Thursday to express my disappointment and they showed up on Monday. I was told it would be a 2 day job. No one showed up the second day. Did not communicate what day they would return to finish the job.We went with a Kentucky board with fence behind to keep our dogs in. Did not realize the gage of the metal fence used is extremely easy to bend. First time my dogs were out, one of them was out within 30 seconds. She escaped through the gate because the metal fence is not a high quality. I contacted the owner to see if this was a normal problem. He indicated it isn't - guess no one else has dogs. Ended up spending more money and our own time to fix the problem. At the end of our conversation, the owner asked if he could send me a link for a 5 star review. I told him I could not give them 5 stars due to the lack of communication and went through the struggle of being forgotten about. He did not send me a link so I had to find it myself.Overall, it's a decent job, however I learned to ask more questions about the quality/gage of the fence being used. Some companies will be upfront with their quality, others wait for you to ask.
