A really amazing nursery for my son. It genuinely feels like all the staff are invested in him. The staff are great at communicating with parents and my son always seems to enjoy it. It's scary leaving your child with people but Busy Bodies staff make me feel a lot calmer about it because I know my son is having a great time!

My boys have been in Busy Bodies since July 2025 and it was the BEST decision I made. The care they have received is exceptional and their development has continued to excel under the guidance of skilled practitioners. Handovers are clear and concise outlining not only what my child has been doing, but how this supports their ongoing developmental targets. The staff also explain how activities will be built upon the following day, week etc. My boys have been offered ample opportunities for enrichment such as football, dance and forest school. They’ve been taken out on trips and they always come home happy. My children are confident with staff and the staff take the time to get to know them too. I would recommend this nursery to anyone and I look forward to my daughter starting her journey with Busy Bodies next year. Massive shout out to Nicol, Lisa, Lana, Tara and Tanya <3

The team at busy bodies are lovely. All the girls are so friendly, warm and kind. I was so worried about putting my baby girl into childcare as we have no support network and she had been with me and my partner since day one. The girls were warm, encouraging and supportive. The areas are always clean and the toys are always organised. The team take the children out (I love this!) and do lots of sensory play in the garden. My little girl is growing in confidence and it is becoming easier for her to go with them in the morning. A big thank you to all the staff for supporting Áine, and a special thank you to Harriet, Lisa, Nicol and Erica in the baby room. 🥰♥️

I cannot recommend Busybodies enough.. my daughter has been attending here since January and she has absolutely flourished and continues to do so on a weekly basis. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and you can tell they have a genuine interest in the development and wellbeing of the children.The variety in activities is fantastic, I receive updates about what they have done throughout the week and I can see how well she is developing.Also the setting at Syston rugby club is perfect as they have so much open space to play in and it feels that they're constantly in the fresh air when playing outside.Everything they eat looks fantastic, healthy and balanced which is exactly what I was looking for in a nursery.

I was very worried about putting my little girl into full time childcare. She had been with me since birth due to us having no family or friends nearby. Busy bodies made her feel extremely welcome, and she seems to be settling more and more. Harriet is a favourite for A, and is always beaming when she sees her. The nursery do lots of activities, and take the babies out for trips (which I love!) A is making progress each day, her new skill is waving, it’s amazing to see her growing in confidence and skills. Special thanks to Harriet as she has worked so hard with A and I can see they have a wonderful bond. Thank you to all for looking after my most precious baby girl.

Such a wonderful, amazing nursery with the most caring and hardworking staff.When I first viewed this nursery, it was an instant yes. The staff are so friendly and its clear to see that the children are so happy and enjoy their time there.I love the amount of outdoor space they have to run around and play. They enjoy so many different a varied activities. Forest School, dance classes, Football classes, day trips to farms, parks, museums and residential homes. Also celebrating and learning about different cultures as well as the normal educational lessons.They always handle drops off really well, keeping you updated throughout the day and they always respond quickly if you're just checking to see how your child is doing that day. Which is great when they've been a bit emotional at drop off or haven't had a great night. They were so supportive when my daughter first started attending, understanding how emotional it is for both parents and child.There's ample amount of parking which is easily accessible for everyone, so there's no stress when dropping/collecting your child.I love the observations they provide, giving you an insight into your child's day and how much fun they have. But also the daily updates about sleep times, food eaten, nappies changed etc. The food is varied and my child is trying so many different foods. Which is great at such at young age.My daughter has developed so much over the last year, her confidence, speech, listening etc and currently being supported with potty training. I strongly agree that it has a lot to do with Busy Bodies and the great team there.I wouldn't put my daughter anywhere else. It's a fantastic space and fun, amazing learning and development environment for your children.

Busy bodies have been so welcoming and supportive since the very first time of being shown around, which for us as family it was paramount thst we could trust and know that our children are safe and secure. Dropping the children off you feel as though you a part of the family and we always feel so informed. We love having our daily and regular updates with pictures. Busy Bodies are so accommodating and take everything on board from a parents perspective as well as adjusting and meeting our children's needs. I would 100% recommend to any family or friends looking to place their children in a nursery.

Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. They makes it such a homely feeling for our child when she was settling in. They give me regular updates on how she’s getting on during the day. They also give me a run down on everything she has gotten up to all day.Our daughter has learned new things and her speech has gotten so much better since being here. :)

We have had such a wonderful experience with this nursery. The setting is truly amazing, and the outdoor space is brilliant, giving the children plenty of opportunity to explore and learn in a natural environment.The nursery consistently meets my child’s individual needs and supports his development in a thoughtful and attentive way. The Forest School provision is outstanding and has been a real highlight — it offers such rich, hands-on learning experiences that my child clearly enjoys and benefits from.What stands out most is the staff. They genuinely know my child on a one-to-one basis, and the care and attention they provide have made a huge difference to his confidence and development. We feel very reassured knowing he is so well supported.We are extremely happy with the nursery and feel very fortunate to be part of such a caring and nurturing environment.

I moved to the area 8 months ago, and me n my husband viewed busy bodies nursery 1st we fell in love and cancelled all our other viewings. As Nicole and the staff wore very friendly and all the children wore so happy. Busy bodies have a beautiful field for children to play outside including a woodlands school. My daughter then started with part time and she really started to shine. Picking up speech and numbers nursery ryhms and sitting on the potty. I adore this nursery they provide diversity and a person centered approach to all the little ones attending. Busy bodies also provide vegetarian and vegan options on the menue. I always feel reassured leaving my daughter even tho she cries on drop offs, the staff always make sure to comfort her and make sure she is settled and update me to let me know she is ok. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a loving home to home feel. I know when I have my next baby where I will be sending the baby .

We love the outdoor space and they are fantastic at making the most of this. Our daughter really looks forward to the forest school sessions.All the staff are so approachable and supportive. It really feels like a partnership to support the children be confident, happy and learning new things.The nursery build in numerous meaningful activities into the day, it is great to hear what they have been up to that day. Best nursery round this area, ive never seen such caring staff.soon as any child cries or even fake cries the staff are quick to comfort them. Even if they are busy. We know our little girl is in safe hands. Its a very home to home atmosphere. They have lovely land surounding the football feilds for the children to play in. And a woods where they have a mud kitchen secret hide away and a childrens hamock. I have recomend to my cousin and now my neice is attending. I can fully trust the staff with any imformation i give them to take care of my only child. When we hqve second child i will be putting my child in this nursery without any doubts.

Everyone at Busy Bodies has been brilliant since our son started. He hadn’t been away from us before but we were always made to feel comfortable and not pushed to leave him at drop off before he or we were happy to. We couldn’t have asked for better communication and we’ve been so happy with how caring and lovely everyone has been. They’ve really supported our son to settle in well and be comfortable chatting, eating and napping, and even supported us in helping our son speak his second language outside our home. It’s really clear that all the children are appreciated as individuals and encouraged to be independent, and that all the staff, not only the allocated key worker, know the children really well. We’re really happy to have found this setting, feel really comfortable leaving him there, and are also really pleased we don’t have to move rooms/settings as he gets older!

My son loves his nursery time, exploring the outside classroom and the great activities/outings developed by Nic and her great team to enhance and expand his curiosities. I struggled to find a nursery that felt like I was dropping him off with family or friends, until I was reassured by visting busy bodies. Not only does he say yay everytime we pull in to the rugby club, he is learning and growing in confidence everytime. Im so pleased we chose Busy Bodies!We moved my daughter to Nicol and her amazing team, because at her previous setting she wasn’t being stimulated enough.It’s been 2 years we’ve been here now.The environment at BB is wonderful, it’s like home from home. The are always out on trips/activities/outdoors, and my daighter ALWAYS comes home with a smile on her face with plenty of stories.Leaving your child is never easy, but BB makes it that bit easier, the team are all incredible.I would recommend BB to anyone looking for childcare.

Busy Bodies is a stupendous child care, development and nurturing setting. Nicol has assembled a crack team of professionals who seem to take genuine pleasure and pride in the development of the children. Being an owner lead nursery makes the world of difference as changes can be effected much quicker. Nicol is a paragon of patience - her calm demeanour and attention to the little details (that are often the really important ones) have given us so much peace of mind since our daughter joined. The weekly trips are a real treat - considered trips in line with the learning happening at the nursery setting. We particularly appreciate that all religions, faiths and cultures are explored. The education side is also worth a mention - the younger children benefit so much for the school prep that the team does for the older children. In short, we cant speak highly enough of this nursery and feel blessed to have found it. We all love it and thank Nic and the whole team for being so wonderful.
