I've been a member of this group this past year and it has been wonderful. We are able to send in our own videos, making it very personal to our specific situation, watch other participant's videos at different stages and even have had guest speakers, all focusing on a common goal of doing the best we can with our dogs. Jen is personable, informative and knowledgeable and often uses her own dogs for emphasizing certain training points. She has her website organized into many different links, hubs and videos so there is always something to watch in addition to the webinars she offers.THank you Jen,

I’ve really enjoyed working with Jen L’Arrivee in her Boot Camp and Herding Hub online programs. I appreciate that the Boot Camp has lifelong access. It’s handy to be able to review the material. Everything is well explained in a logical manner. The Herding Hub has new content every month as well as 2 coaching calls with the opportunity to get videos analyzed. Even seeing the other member’s videos is valuable.

We've been involved in several on-line dog training sites over the years. Working with Jen at Dore River BCs has been the best. She has that rare combination of in depth content knowledge, with 30 years of experience, and having been a high school teacher. The content, videos and talks are insightful and presented in a well thought out, logical progression.Regular Zoom meetings provide coaching, advice and direction through video analysis which helps us all. Dore River training is an excellent program for all levels of handlers and dogs. In addition to Jen's many years of stock dog experience she brings her experience as a high school teacher which lends itself to her ability to explain clearly the process of training a stock dog. The Bootcamp program contains a tremendous amount of information and unlike some online training you only pay once for lifetime access. Jen is very generous with her time and is always willing to help you out if you get stuck on a particular aspect of training. Another great part of Dore River is the Herding Hub. Here you can interact with Jen, special guest speakers and several other like minded handlers during 3 different zoom meetings per month. These meetings are recorded so you can review them at your leisure. I have known Jen for several years and her positive attitude makes the journey fun and interesting. I would highly recommend this program to anyone.

After meeting and watching Jen work her dogs in person, I was certain that continued online lessons with her would become valuable tools within my toolbox of training. The easy to adapt to my own schedule lessons, with the ability to revisit them down the road as training progressed, has indeed become a first stop tool.The online community of shared videos and support, as well as the ability to have private one-on-one coaching, help get through the periods of being stuck or not knowing where to turn.I highly recommend the investment for yourself as well as your kennel of dogs.Pictured is Jessi, the first dog I trained through Jen's program, while we were at the Calgary Stampede competing 2025.

Dore River Border Collies is incredible! Jennifer L'Arrivee is a wonderful lady, a talented and an accomplished stock dog trainer and has the tech savy to run a very informative training website and online training platforms.
