I'd suggest that Overhead door add lubricating the motor gear that drives the belt as part of regular owner maintenance (like lubricating the hinges/joints of the garage door). The service call was for a loud noise coming from the gear and it only needed to be lubricated ... something I could easily do.Fortunately the service men also determined the garage door spring needed to be tightened ... so fortuitous. Very pleased with the technicians.

I was on my way out for the day and my garage door would not open. I called Overhead Door Company of the Desert and they were able to send someone out within the hour. The broken springs repair took about 45 minutes and I was on my way. This is twice Overhead Door Company has come out to help and they are great, their tech's are experienced and knowledgeable and great to work with-don't hesitate to contact them if you need garage door services.
