Nairobi Powerbikes

I bought a brand new motorbike from Nairobi Power Bikes about 8 months ago, and it has only around 1,000 km on it. Almost from day one, the ignition lock started failing. While riding, the bike would suddenly lose all electrical power, which is extremely dangerous and honestly quite scary. When I contacted Nairobi Power Bikes, they completely refused to take responsibility. Their only solution was for me to pay for a new lock, even though the bike is still under warranty. At first, they sent me a warranty policy clearly stating that this type of issue is covered. When I pointed this out, they sent a different policy contradicting the first one, saying only engine-related problems are covered. After I questioned this, they simply stopped responding. To make things worse, the so-called operations manager, Derrick, sent me the wrong spare part. It was obviously not checked, not compatible, and not even close to the original specifications. This shows a complete lack of care and basic professionalism. When I pointed out the issue, instead of taking responsibility or trying to fix the mistake, he simply stopped responding altogether. It’s hard not to take this personally when the person in charge handles a situation this poorly. This is not just bad service, it’s a total disregard for the customer.Very disappointing experience. Poor customer service, no transparency, and no respect for their own warranty terms. I would not trust them again.Frankly, if this is the standard of someone in an “operations manager” role, it explains everything about how this business treats its customers.
