John came over within the hour of answering our call and was just great. Figured out the issue with the leak from our 2nd floor tub down into our first floor. It was actually a simple fix, though we had dreaded the worst. Such a pleasant surprise! Honest, responsive and SO reasonably priced! I found John here looking through Google and his reviews were amazing. They're all right! I asked John to come check on my leaking water heater. He was prompt and quickly determined it needed replacing because it was VERY old. He went out to price the new heater and called me within 20 minutes with a really fair and affordable quote for the job. He was back within another 20 minutes to replace it. He is so friendly and passionate about his work and life in general. He was so easy to talk to, and that's coming from a huge introvert! This poor man had to move my clothes dryer out of my laundry room to remove the old heater and didn't even think to charge me extra for it. Thanks for that, John! He installed the heater perfectly and left the utility room completely dry with no mess. I will definitely call John again for my next plumbing job. He's my new go to plumber for sure. I needed to convert two bathtubs to showers. It required the services of a shower installer and a plumber to install new piping and floor drains. The floor drain required jackhammering the cement of the floor of the old tub. Also the plumbing work had to be coordinated with the shower installer.John of After Hours Drain Cleaning and Plumbing worked perfectly with the installer. He knew exactly what was required of him. And his work was excellent. Also, his fee was reasonable.As a result my project was completed in less than half the time others quoted me.
