I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FIRESTATION. I was a loyal customer to Fire in Singapore and was very happy with the trainers there. However, they just suddenly decided to shut down their business without any advance notice. I went for class one fine Friday morning and received an email that SAME afternoon to say that they will be closing down on the coming Sunday. In addition, they had only charged the membership fee to my card the PREVIOUS week. The worst part of it all was, the attempt on their end to facilitate the refund was FEEBLE and LOUSY. I did not hear a single word of reply from them ever since I submitted my bank account details. I have not been refunded my fees of about S$150, and I am NOT ALONE. Many of us are still left without an answer. I have sent emails and posted on the, now dead, Singapore Facebook page. All to no avail! This is just irresponsible on their part. And I demand a proper handling of this matter. I hope this gives everyone an idea of how FIRE runs their business and might just ghost on you one day too! I have wanted to write a recommendation for the longest time, but typically I’m doing it just before I leave Malaysia. I have enjoyed every single thing about Fire. The workouts, the trainers, the people. I even celebrated my daughter’s birthday there, such fun! Fire exudes expertise, professionalism and warmth. How am I ever going to find something comparable?

Can’t go wrong with Fire. Professional and skilled trainers who know how the right techniques to guide you. I really like how they’re conscientious about asking re your injuries when they know that you’re new. And of course, great music and energetic instructors to motivate and drive you at each class!

Dear firestation Management(plaza mont Kiara), I would like to bring up a few issues in the gym ; 1. There r not enuff lockers during peak hours. It is either out of order or insufficient lockers. How do we keep our valuables then? 2. The class is too small to accommodate up to 12 people. Might want to consider cutting down to 10 ppl max. This is to ensure a comfortable , enjoyble and sufficient space for members I truly enjoy most of the workouts in firestation but would really appreciate it if the management is able to look into this matter so it will make our workout more enjoyable with sufficient facilities provided considering the amount of $$ we paid for the access. Just to share something about Celebrity Fitness especially Wangsa Walk:- Somehow since I lodged the complaint on 2nd Nov, we are seeing some miracles happening in front of our eyes in the gym. Things that never occurred for the past few years & now the management is resolving the issues & I’m glad to say that most of them are solved, except for the air conditioning issue which goes ON & OFF, blinking like a car indicator. Few days no AC (when I say no AC, it means no AC & those 6 beautiful industrial blowers probably assist the ventilation system by 20% - 30% only) whereas we feel very stuffy indoors. Some other days like today has AC functioning, thank you. On 4th Nov, my friend discussed with Mr Ameer & Mr Ameer said he would come back to him after a few days, soon after discussing with the Fitness First management. That’s good. What’s not good is until today he didn’t get back to that poor person. According to my friend, he left messages 2 weeks ago & last week over the customer service counter so that Mr Ameer would return the call. As always, nothing happened. I just want to say that there are many eyes, big boys’ eyes are watching & waiting what’s going to happen next. Obviously we’re not going stand still like a bunch of monkeys, as our rights as customers being ignored for so long. Somebody has to make a stand for it. Some lawyers have been discussing related to the contract clauses (which we first signed up when joining the gym) pertaining to the failed facilities. Even Mr Lester yesterday was talking to drop by at DBKL & write a report about this unhealthy situation. Many of the early morning big boys expressed their concerns & displeasure against the prolonged issues at the gym. I am very sorry, but I have no choice but to extend & voice it out to other gyms in order to attract the Celebrity Fitness’s management team, so that they may listen & notice that we are sick and tired of this nonsense. And another thing, please stop playing those vulgar songs (with obscene lyrics) in the gym as the school holiday is coming very soon. I don’t understand how the staffs would sit & pretend like everything is A-okay when there are kids sitting around the customer service area chairs, waiting for their parents and at the same time listening to the above mentioned music.

I can't say enough positive things about Fire! Great trainers with such enthusiasm. It's hard not to be happy when you have people like Tanya and V boosting your confidence throughout each class. Boutique gyms are the way to go and Firestation leads the way. They have managed to turn themselves into the go to gym with their high energy, rockstar trainers that gets you addicted in coming again and again. I have seen bodies and lives transformed by Firestation. Try any of their classes in KL or Singapore and you are guaranteed a good time and hooked in no time! Highly recommend it.
