He repaired the roof, garage, sump pump, and took care of numerous other repairs that needed attention.From beginning to end, he was professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He paid attention to the details, communicated with me throughout the process, and made sure the work was done properly. I had several things that needed to be addressed, and he handled everything with care and professionalism.I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication he put into my property. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and I feel confident knowing the repairs were done correctly.I highly recommend this contractor to anyone looking for someone dependable, skilled, and committed to doing quality work. We hired DJ & Company for a renovation project in our home, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.Communication with Darien was difficult from the beginning. During the estimating process, he agreed to everything we requested and assured us the work could be completed. Once work began, however, we quickly encountered serious problems.Workers we had not been told about arrived on the first day and were unable to communicate with us in English. The next morning, we discovered a major water leak from our upstairs bathroom through our dining room ceiling. They had left plumbing disconnected and uncapped, with water dripping into a trash bag overnight. Darien had one of his other workers fix the ceiling for us several weeks later, but unfortunately, due to additional incompetence, that work would be damaged again.We also discovered that the kitchen tile we specifically discussed having removed was not removed at all. LVP was installed directly over the existing tile, which was uneven in places. The result is uneven flooring and additional problems around the doorways that now require corrective work.There were also plumbing issues that we caught before they caused another leak. Unfortunately, the problems continued. After the crew replaced a toilet, it began leaking through the wax ring and caused additional water damage to the same ceiling area. We were told the workers had placed a new wax ring over an old one and had not properly seated the toilet.We have now incurred nearly $1,000 in plumbing and drywall repair costs related to these issues, in addition to the frustration and disruption of having to correct work we had already paid to have done.We repeatedly contacted Darien and gave him opportunities to address these problems. Each time, he expressed surprise and assured us he would make things right. Ultimately, we decided to discontinue working with him, as every time his company entered our home, something was left damaged.Now he has stopped responding to us and has not refunded any of our money.Darien is very personable in person, but unfortunately our experience with the workmanship, communication, supervision, and follow-through was very different. I believe he wants to expand what his company does, but as it currently exists, they are neither competent nor equipped to do any kind of quality renovation work.Based on our experience, we cannot recommend DJ & Company, and will be contacting the Attorney General on this matter.

I found DJ & Company by searching for a painter near me after a painter I hired started a job that was supposed to last 2 days. After 2 days the work was horrible and I made the decision to find someone else to get the job done. Darien showed up within hours after 1st being contacted to do a walk through and give me a quote. I'm not sure if he saw the desperation on my face to get this job done quickly but he not only gave me a fair quote but was able to pull a crew together ASAP to get started. The crew came in and did an amazing job in a day and 1/2. Not only was their work fantastic but they also cleaned up after themselves. I cannot tell you how thankful and impressed with the service from this company. They will definitely be my first call if I need their services again. The before and after pictures speak for themselves.

Had a clog thought it was from the kitchen drain or garbage disposal but after James came out to see what was going on it was from the upstairs bathroom clogged and coming out in the kitchen… Everything got fixed in a timely fashion at a reasonably price I recommend DJ & Company for any plumbing needs
