After 44 years, on 3 different houses, Radio Operated Garage Door left me no other decision but to call their probably biggest competitor. Our garage door came down with a bang, with our car trapped inside. Radio Operated were booked, which is not a surprise, but could come out after hours on an emergency call for an extra $175 + the normal charge or I could set up an appt next week! So instead I called their big competitor, and they were out within 45 minutes and fixed our garage door. I gave Radio Operated 3 stars, just because of past work. They really didn't deserve that high of score today. Looks like I found a new garage door repair company.

I have used Radio Controlled Garage Door and Gate in the past -- they supplied the garage doors when my house was built 20 years ago, and they replaced the springs on my primary garage door 4 years ago. This time I had them out to repair a broken belt on my garage door opener. The technician, Steve, evaluated the situation and gave me some options along with pros and cons for each. No pressure one way or another, and the work was done quickly and precisely. Steve even checked out a couple of odd noises with the door and was able to advise if it was a quick fix or something to keep an eye on for the future. In the many years of working with Radio Controlled Garage Door I have not had a bad experience.

They always do a great job. My original phone call went to a call center. The person at the call center was not very good. Normally the phone is answered by someone with RCG so I hope this was an exception that after 10 or 12 rings it went to a call center.

Steve came out tonight and was amazing! He reviewed the situation, started to work, and before I knew it, he had the new springs on the door and was prepping to tighten them. We had an after hours situation and he was efficient and timely, having the work completed in under 90 minutes.Steve was great, personable, and helped fix the problem door and serviced our second door before heading out for the night! An unexpected and poorly timed garage door malfunction caused us to urgently need a speedy garage door repair. The lady that took my call was super helpful, asked great questions and worked the schedule to get me help.
