We had a few bumps with drafting and reviewing the draft legal document prior to signing but those were easily overcome. During the family meeting, he laid out the key components our executors should know when it comes time to act on our behalf. While we are many years away from retirement, having all of the necessary legal documents in place for that "just in case" scenario helps set my mind at ease.
