I am normally a shy person, and going into the photo shoot I was anticipating a semi awkward experience. The photoshoot was AMAZING, no part of it was awkward. Working with Nova was like working with a best friend. We had so much in common and she genuinely cared about how I was feeling and building my confidence throughout the photoshoot. Having lost 120lbs, but still having a long way to go I wasn't feeling the best about myself. I was hoping for a little confidence boost. To say that I got that boost is an understatement. After the session, waiting for the reveal appointment I was super nervous. I was terrified I would see the pictures and just see the imperfections and million flaws I see on a daily basis.I made a good friend come with me to the reveal and had my mom on facetime too. Nova sat us down and as soon as she showed the first picture the tears started (from all 3 of us)! For honestly the first time in my life I can look at pictures of myself and see beauty. These pictures are STUNNING!!!!!! Having those who I have shared the pictures with say things like "I am glad you finally get to see yourself how we always see you" has blown my mind. Like am I really actually pretty? WOW!I have looked at my pictures each at least dozens of times and just can't get enough! The emotions when looking at them is a mix between giddy and awestruck!
