I came to Alex after I had tried rehabbing my injury myself for almost a year without success. I thought I was really knowledgeable in the fitness space and historically had successfully rehabbed myself back to exercise, but this time whatever I was doing was not working. I had been to in-network PT places but couldn't stick it out past the first session. They felt too gentle for me, not really geared towards athletes. An AI search results suggesting 1 on 1 PT with Alex brought me in for the initial consult session with Alex, which was enough to convince me to continue working with him. There was no time spent outside of actual exercise (i.e. foam rolling, massage, heat/cold therapy), so the full hour was going through various forms of weight training, plyometrics, and stretches (minimal). There was a lot of communication and following up to see how the body was reacting in subsequent days to measure progress.I was shocked by the progress after only 2-3 sessions. I came in skeptical but using this as a last ditch attempt being that is was 1 on 1 PT and out of network. The best part is that I leave feeling much more informed on how to treat injuries and feel equipped to handle future injuries (unfortunately inevitable). On top of this there's also the free app where Alex programs what exercises to do on your own exercising days, with videos. We had gone down from 2 sessions to 1 session with Alex + 1 session on my own. The solo session was programmed for me within the app. He also gave me exercises to warm up (even a 10m video routine) for other exercises I did unrelated to injury rehab.I'll stop as this already sounds like Alex paid me for marketing when in fact the payments only went in the other direction. If you're feeling like you're out of hope on recovering from your injury, don't give up until you've been here.

Dr. Alex is the BESTTTT!!! He is so knowledgeable and very patient! He took the time to understand my pains and created a program to address it. My pain has subsided tremendously since we started. He is very professional and very personable as well. I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone!!

Dr. Alex is the best! He worked with me during every session to determine where my pain originated and gave me exercises specifically for the problem areas (and there were a few). You will always work with him, not someone else that works for him. If you’re looking for one on one attention from a pro, go see Dr. Alex. I highly recommend.

I’ve been dealing with my shoulder injury for over a year, and after less than two months working with Alex, I’m already back to climbing and exercising pain free. Not only am I back to doing what I enjoy, but I’m starting to push past some of my previous bests. Alex has been great to work with and really took the time to understand the issue and what I wanted to get back to doing. I’d definitely recommend Intent Rehab to anyone dealing with an injury that’s been holding them back.

Great physical therapist and a great human being; it was a pleasure working with him during my ACL recovery, his 1 on 1 approach is very personalise to who you are and it really makes recovery more enjoyable. During my six weeks there I’ve made tremendous improvements in range and knee extensions and somewhat going back to a regular day to day life than with my previous PT’s. His accountability is phenomenal and will always take feedbacks or criticism to better his work and that says a lot about him as a person.

Long time lifter with Bilateral torn rotator cuffs post 2 surgeries over 2 years. Back to doing pushups and overhead pressing at 4 months post 2nd surgery. Alex's experience in the field and in competitive powerlifting give him a unique insight into rehabbing athletes. I wouldn't be where I am without his assistance.

Dr Alex, has helped me overcome limitations I thought I was going to suffer through life with. From the second the initial session start to being almost 6 weeks with him he's stays involved and invested in treatment while also sticking with your goals. Appreciate you Dr. AlexHighly recommend to anyone with a goal of getting better and staying healthy.

Alex is extremely professional, nice and friendly. He is well informed and uses his knowledge to determine the best course of treatment, with feedback and adjustments along the way.

Dr. Alex is amazing. Had me feeling better than I did before the injury. Very easy and comfortable to work with too, all around great experience.

Great decision to come to intent rehab! I was in a bad place mentally and physically from multiple injuries and Alex taught me so much and I’m 110 percent better after only 8 sessions. I would definitely recommend Alex! He’s very knowledgeable and patient and I’ve had amazing results!

I actually got referred to Alex from one of my buddy’s from the gym and ever since then I haven’t regretted my choice! I had an issue with my lat and scapular and Alex created a plan and gave me workout to do on my own. Showing me different exercises each week while also improving on the pain! Great experience overall and I would 100% come back if anything else happens💪🏽

Been working with Alex for a few months. Awesome guy, feel so much better. Highly recommend meeting with him if pain is getting in the way of your fitness.

I had a great experience working with Alex! I went to him with a nagging knee pain and an older shoulder injury. What really stood out was how professional everything was. There was nothing cookie-cutter about his approach, every session was one-on-one and tailored to what I needed. Alex never put unnecessary limitations on me and worked around my current training schedule so that I could keep making progress while rehabbing. He's very knowledgeable, thinks outside the box, and listens to what your goals are. He is truly vested in his client's progress! I've seen a big improvement in both my knee (currently pain free) and my shoulder and feel confident in my training again.I highly recommend working with Alex if you are looking for individualized care and attention to detail that you will not find with traditional physical therapy.

Alex is the most personable, intelligent and thorough medical experience I’ve ever had.I came to him with a rare, undiagnosed, and difficult to handle illness that was ruining my life for 5 years. He helped me both physically and mentally, by giving me the exact tools and strategies that I needed to get myself back to a quality life.Definitely contact him for a consultation. The plan of care considers the entire individual as a functional unit, as opposed to traditional over commercialized physical therapy that only considers what is written on the prescription.Far superior to the broken physical therapy system that can not provide the attention needed for the individual.Consider this a public display of my own gratitude for Alex helping me put my head back on my shoulders.

I’ve been working with Alex for help managing hip dysplasia, and I truly cannot say enough good things about him. Not only has he helped me reduce pain and build strength in the surrounding muscle groups, but he has also supported me through the mental side of this journey. He has a way of explaining things that makes everything feel less overwhelming — helping me reframe how I think about pain, injuries, progress, and the inevitable ups and downs. Every session feels productive, encouraging, and tailored to what my body needs that day.I’m so grateful for his expertise, patience, and the positive mindset he’s helped me build. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about both your physical recovery and overall well-being, I couldn’t recommend him more!!

Dr Alex is knowledgeable and cares about your wellbeing. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and doesn’t rush your appointment. Highly recommend

I found Alex about a year and a half after going through physical therapy covered by no fault insurance, which didn’t lead to any real improvement in my back. Alex immediately took a more personalized and customized approach, tailoring every session to my specific needs. He’s not only an excellent physical therapist, but also coaches me mentally, keeping me motivated and positive throughout my recovery. Every visit leaves me feeling encouraged and confident in my progress. I highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for truly individualized care.

As a powerlifter I reached out to Alex after I had 2 orthopedics recommend surgery to repair my wrist. Alex brought me in for a consultation and created a plan to get me back on track. He showed me digitally and physically what was impacted and he followed up with the rehab routine, tweaking it as we progressed. After I picked up a nagging adductor injury, Alex worked with me to get me back under a barbell and understand how to move efficiently. My confidence is up to start managing heavier weight and the range of motion in my injuries has increased dramatically. The best thing about Alex is his calm demeanor and positive, can-do attitude. He always asks for feedback and answers any questions I ask. As an athlete I felt comfortable talking to Alex since he understood movement patterns and things that I would have trouble explaining to other people that do not share the same background. I can’t recommend Intent Rehab & Performance Physical Therapy enough!

Injured my calf muscle 10 months ago and after several weeks of PT, it wasn’t healing or progressing much. I was referred to Intent Rehab by a friend so I gave it a try. A few weeks in and so far it’s been great. Measurable progress and plenty of variation in exercises to keep it interesting. Not your typical so cookie cutter PT. Highly recommend.

Alex is amazing! After two spinal surgeries, I spent months and months not being able to do anything because of fear. He helped me overcome that, get back to working out, and taught me great stretches. Highly recommend!

After going to orthopedists, a neurologist, traditional physical therapy, and pain management, I was ready to give up because of neck, back, and shoulder pain. Dr Alex was the only person who helped me with the physical and mental aspects limiting my recovery and got me back to resuming my life again. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

After three frustrating months of traditional PT, working with Dr. Alex has been a game-changer. I wasn’t simply aiming to get through daily activities; I wanted to return to lifting, training, and the active lifestyle that I was accustomed to.From our first session, Dr. Alex approached recovery with clear intent. He addressed the physical, mental, and emotional facets of healing and then created a personalized plan with realistic, progressive expectations. His deep expertise, focused attention, and genuine care helped me make more progress in one session with him than I had in months elsewhere. Dr Alex helped me prove to myself that I could do things that I had previously been told I shouldn’t or wouldn’t be able to do - and all while avoiding surgery!Dr. Alex helped me rebuild proper form and provided me with the tools I needed to train smarter, prevent future injuries, and let go of the fear that I’d never return to the activities that I loved or train the same way again. Dr. Alex has been an exceptional partner and a wealth of knowledge through my recovery process. I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr Alex and his unique approach to PT has been a game changer for me! After 8 months of zero progress from standard group PT for my frozen shoulder, I finally decided to invest in one on one personalized treatments with Alex. I wish I hadn’t waited so long because after just 6 sessions, he helped me get back to normal activities, including my yoga practice. Alex’s approach is so empowering…his technique, explanations, and instincts are spot on; he gently encouraged me to go beyond my self imposed limitations; and his ability to connect the treatment to my goals was well worth the time and money. He’s an absolute pro and I’m grateful for his expertise!

Dr. Alex has worked with both my 73 year old father and 14 year old daughter. He has a wonderful ability to connect with patients of any age, while providing excellent rehab and strength training. He goes above and beyond to tailor his approach to each patient which makes their sessions more successful and meaningful. From incorporating golf swings for my Dad or cartwheels for my young cheerleader, his care for his patients is what sets Dr. Alex apart. He is an excellent physical therapist who I trust with my family’s rehab needs.

I love working with Alex. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and easy to talk to. He was transparent about pricing and flexible with scheduling. The exercises he gave me were easy to do at home. I've seen noticable improvements in just two weeks. I highly recommend!

Working with Alex has been a game changer for my performance. Struggling for many years trying my own solutions to heal has only put bandaids on my symptoms and never helped the core issue. Alex is a wealth of knowledge, incredible coach, and truly listens to understand how the entire body is working from every angle. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Dr. Eggs put together a great plan for me to get back on the field at full speed. Smells nice too

Very clean and professional. A lot of knowledge in here. Definitely a place to be if your looking to keep your self in peak performance
