I had water in my basement after having a waterproof system installed 8 years ago. I sent an email saying I thought I had a warranty issue. Michael messaged me first thing the next day and made himself available to visit my house to do an assessment. He spent about 1 hour with me examining the entire exterior of my house and inside my basement. He determined it was a different issue with water collecting in my window wells and coming in through a vent (completely unrelated to the waterproofing). He showed me how to solve the issue. The next day it rained again before I could take care of the window wells and the water came in exactly as he said it would. I was able to quickly respond and get it taken care of without any water damage in my basement. Michael went above and beyond what I would ever have expected. If I was recommending a waterproofing service to anyone, I would not hesitate at all to recommend Superior.

5+ years of great experiences working with Michael and his team at Superior Waterproofing. We live near the lake and had flooding in our crawlspace and Michael was very responsive in offering waterproofing solutions and fully explaining their process. They also allowed me to bring in 300 cement blocks myself to keep the project costs down. The job worked great and we have been dry in the crawl space ever since. After coping with basement floods for way too many years, I admitted my basement was a disaster and called Superior Waterproofing. In 2021 they installed a sump pump as well as drain tiles and waterproof wall coverings around the perimeter walls of the basement. In 2022 they installed a buried discharge line and heat cable. Every Fall since, they’ve returned to verify the system is working and to flush the discharge pipe. I never thought I’d say that installing this sump pump system was my best home improvement project, but it is! There has not been the slightest leak in the past five years, not even in the worst rains. It no longer smells like mildew and mold, and a simple dehumidifier is enough to allow me to hang my clothes to dry in the basement all year long. In the pre-sump days, the clothes would stay damp forever! Michael and Ryan are professional, competent, and responsive. I highly recommend this company without reservations.

After years of ignoring our foundation cracks it was time to address the situation when water started leaking in the basement during heavy rains. Mike was very reassuring they could get the job done, and they did! We contacted Superior after our basement flooded during a power outage. At the same time we talked with them about a quieter sump pump as the one we had ran often and loudly. They dug out our window wells, added drains from them to the sub floor drain, extended the height of the radon hole and installed a new sump pump. Everything was fantastic until recently the pump was running constantly again and noisily...It was under warranty and Michael jumped on it immediately...Great service, friendly and professional...highly recommend.

My house is over 50 years old and has suffered due the severe winters we have in this area. I finally decided that things needed to be repaired now. Ryan came and did a walk-through to see exactly what work needed to be done. He returned the next day with an estimate (which I thought was very fair) and signed the contract. He told me that the price that was quoted was the final amount so I knew exactly what I would be paying for the job. He let me know that it would be a short wait because they had another job to finish first. When they arrived a few days later, they worked diligently and finished the job within 2 weeks. I don't recall every working with a firm that was so friendly and kind, willing to answer all my questions, and who explained what was being done every step of the way. After several years struggling to find a good couch to put in my basement, I finally decided to go with a modular option - took 10 weeks to arrive. The day it shows up was the day I discovered how slipshod the handiwork of the previous owner truly was when they attempted to finish the walls. Water pooled around the perimeter and pushed through the composite flooring. After demo of the finished walls, clay had been pushed through the pores in my cinder block - from a family friend, I was recommended Superior Waterproofing. 110% satisfied that I did.Knowledgeable, friendly, and collaborative, "Dewey" went to great lengths to understand my situation and made himself readily available to answer any questions or concerns I had (before, during, and after the project). We didn't just check the basement, but all my structures (interior/ext), the grade of my land, and the sump system. He encouraged my participation and actively suggested work/ways I could alleviate the strain on my home (some of which I completed before he started!).
