Excellent experience with StructSolve! Jayce was quick to respond to our inquiry as we wanted our house looked at due to some settling concerns. Jayce came out and inspected our home within a short period time of our first discussion. His review was comprehensive and he also answered our questions along the way. Not long after the inspection, we received the final report from Bernard. The report was easy to understand and fully captured the scope of the home’s structural inspection. Fortunately, everything checked out better than anticipated. I’d recommend StructSolve to anyone seeking a structural review of their residential properties! Less

We moved into a 70’s house and had some concerns about our foundation that we didn’t notice on the inspection. We were getting quotes as low as $8k and as high as $23k to get things buttoned up. Hiring Structsolve and the engineer came inspected and confirmed some of the issues and recommended measures that were much lower cost that would fix it if we were confident the root cause was addressed. We ended up going with the $8k fix, but we’re glad to know it wasn’t just salesmanship of the contractor and had the opportunity to get that issue quoted out by multiple contractors.I’d recommend getting using them, especially to potential buyers that have bid on a house and may have concerns. A thousand dollars or so during negotiations is way better than finding yourself in a house and you need to fork up $10-$20k after agreement is made with your seller. Less

We had a great experience with Jim at StructSolve. He worked with his team to help us come up with a design to remove some load bearing walls in our living area. They were willing to work with us and create a design that accomplished our goals without compromising safety and structural integrity. Jim also took the time to address a couple of other small structural issues with our home by including recommendations in his report. Jim also communicated well when we had questions about the final report. The work was pricey for what I'm used to (I have no idea what is typical for a structural engineering report for a private residence, we were charged ~$900) but we have peace of mind. The picture shows a part of the work that was done based on the engineering report. Less
