He then tried to charge me a service fee even though the home warranty was supposed to cover all payments to them. Thankfully I refused. Luckily I decided to get a second opinion from another HVAC company! They identified and fixed the problem, a rotted hose, in 10 minutes and tada, my heat was working! He said he couldn't believe what this company was trying to do to me and that it was a simple easy fix. This company tried to scam me into replacing my entire system. DO NOT USE THEM. They should be called WORST CHOICE Heating & Cooling & Solar. Less

I literally went down the list that Google provided in my area and Best Choice was the 3rd place I called after the 2 previous places, also well rated, didn't answer the phone or gave me a recording. To my surprise, after a quick automated prompt, Zach picked up the phone and I was able to talk to a live person! On top of that, after describing my situation, Zach said he could be there between 3pm and 5pm the same day!! What?! Also note not all AC techs want to come out and basically finish your installation since they have to also assume the responsibility if something goes wrong and they usually make most of their profit on complete installation. Zach ended up changing the appointment to 6pm but was super communicative the entire time about what time he'd be there. He showed up right at 6 and went to work. It took him about an hour to get everything going and also validated my installation was good and free of leaks. Bottom line Zach and his team are solid people with excellent work ethic! Zach is one of the owners and it's a family run biz. In fact that's his little boy's picture on the side of the truck! lol. Zach is an awesome person and is in business for the right reason, to serve his customer with super courteous and honest work. Yes, those people do exist still and when you find a guy like Zach and Best Choice, you hang on to them and hope your review gets them more business.
