Hello, I had the opportunity to meet and be involved with Melissa in the purchase of some mountain property. She was helpful and professional and I would most certainly recommend her!

Since 2023, I have been involved the sale of properties in Georgia and Florida, and purchase searches in Georgia and Rhode Island. Upon my arrival in North Carolina, Melissa was referred to me by my realtor in Florida. Initially, I was working with three realtors to find a property to purchase, and I quickly realized that Melissa was my best choice. She presented a consistent, process driven approach that resulted in my finding a home that checked all of the boxes in a very short time. Of all of the real estate professionals that I have encountered, none can hold a candle to Melissa. She is pleasant, intelligent, driven, and process oriented. She has my highest recommendations.

Melissa was referred to me by a good friend when I moved to the area and began searching for a home for my retirement years. She took the time to fully discuss my needs, wants, and price range. She set me up for notifications and began sending me listings in the area of my interest that most closely fit her perception from our meeting and it was clear to me from those listings that she clearly understood what I was looking for. Over the next weeks we discussed and/or looked at properties all over the map Northeast and Northwest of Asheville and eventually found as close to my Mountain House and property vision as could be found in the parameters I gave her to work in. It had everything that we had originally discussed and much more and after her negotiation work with the Sellers Agent we were able to make it work within my price range and payment goals. My financing situation had complexities and Melissa was always available and knowledgable when I had questions or concerns, or just needed to discuss any of the speed bumps on the way to approval and closing. She even attended the closing with me which was unexpected and appreciated. Many times during the process she went above and beyond reasonable expectation to make this happen for me. I am retiring from a 40 year career in Sales, Sales Management, and later Project Management and I found Melissa to be the very best of what a Customer asks from their Agent. I was thoroughly pleased and impressed with Melissa as a Professional and a Person. I have, and will, recommend Blue Ridge Living Realty whenever anyone asks for advice in locating Property or a Home in the Western North Carolina region. Reach out to Melissa Plemmons and Blue Ridge Living Realty.....you will be glad you did.

Melissa and Scott helped us with the purchase of our lake house. Their knowledge of NC lakes and understanding of lake lifestyle helped us make a decision. They gave us thoughtful advice and made sure the process was smooth.

When we selected Melissa to find a property for us ( Lake James area), we weighed two factors that were missing from other realtors we considered: 1. A wealth of knowledge about the areas we were considering, and 2. A clear indication that she would always represent us - the buyers - from beginning to end and never try to compromise to satisfy the seller’s needs. Top notch choice!
