This is the third transformation the JAS team have done for me (in two separate homes since 2014) and they have just produced the most brilliant, beautiful work and finish. Everyone on the team has done exceptionally high quality work and I couldn't be happier. I have the most beautiful stone kitchen and hall floor and stunning bathroom. I have a removals company and we often move things out to storage for them and back in to the properties once the projects are complete so we see the before and after and I can say the quality of their work is nothing short of amazing. We have a very old 17th Century Grade II listed house in Coombe Lane, Bristol. JAS were appointed to build a small extension to our kitchen and fully refurbish our kitchen, pantry and utility rooms. This included new flooring, underfloor heating, upgraded heating system, some structural changes (moving position of doors/stairs etc), new roof lights, new external doors/windows, upgraded electrical works, etc.JAS works were all of a very high standard, and they were extremely proactive and helpful at all times to provide affordable options and solutions to problems as they arose. Sam and his on site team were extremely professional, keeping the site as clean and secure as possible during the works. Costs for amendments were transparent and always agreed in advance.JAS co-ordinated the various subcontractors extremely well (kitchen, flooring, heating, electrics, joiner, painters) enabling the project to be completed more or less on time.I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending JAS to anyone who is seeking a quality service for their extension and/or renovation works.

JAS are a well known local family-run building company.They rennovated our dilapidated house, to a high standard, and (given COVID) they came through in a reasonable time. They also have really good after-service; for example, recently our chimney started to leak; they arranged the scaffolding, and repointed it - now there is no more leak. This was really good of them, as it was just a small job, and most companies would be onto the next big job.Overall, we find them to be a trustworthy lot; they are straightforward, polite, and they do what they say, which I think is quite rare in the trade. So we would use them again in the future, and we are happy to recommend them!
