I personally should've gone with My instincts but of course I give everyone the benefit. Big mistake again. Another typical TEXAS all talk, poor experience, butt kissing, dishonorable person. After Talking in person & asking for a Chocolate color Stained fence, even with POINTING at the neighbors chocolate color fence I end up getting the wrong color.. Now to clarify.. what was in words/ written.. Yes .. the color was decided on and Yes the color was used. But WITHOUT a sample of the color and the TRUSTED " knowledge of JAKE, the color was used. Again. my mistake for believing the guy when just listening to him I ALREADY felt he had crappy knowledge when It comes to field work, especially when that is my profession. I do give it to Jake he can convince an Eskimo to walk on ice barefoot in Alaska. But that's about it. Once the fence dried, the color is NOT chocolate dark . The person whom Stained it was contacted and for the very first time I met her & she actually comes with her sample board with EVERY color they have, ( She even mentioned that Jake never even saw the color).., And yup. Not even close. Once I showed her the correct color I wanted,.& Agreed to the correct one. I Contacted Jake and of course like every crappy contractor says I am the one to pay for new color because the color that was originally chosen was done.. See.. why should I pay for a color I didn't want when the guy didn't even know anything about the color he's NEVER seen before. Did I agree to the A color I was told was dark chocolate, Yes, did I agree to the color I have on my fence now? Hell NO. I deal with bullshit contractors all the time. But this so-called Veteran owned business that has a representative with zero integrity and honor has disappointed us & being a VET myself is even worse. Yes Jake has been reported to BBB and yes trash bad information about this business name has already spread. Enough with the scamming.. guess that what Texas allows. Less

I am updating this review below from one star to four stars since my issue with my yard it got corrected. I can say I am pleased with the job now. I do appreciate that they put sod down to make it look better.I wasn’t pleased that I was promised the start and completion of the job a certain time and date and it wasn’t done and communication was not filtered down to me. Finally at the completion of the job for the French drains it was no clean up which I was promised that the individuals will come back to clean all the dirt they dug up. The job look so unfinished because the clunks of dirt left there made it look even worse. I didn’t understand why that wasn’t cleaned up before the job was done. It’s awful and I got so frustrated I decided not to call because I knew I was not going to get it corrected. I never ever had a job so incomplete as far as not cleaning up. It looks horrible. I have neighbors look at it and said why is clunk of dirt left there. I said I am still waiting for them to come and fix it but I am won’t hold my breath. At this point I can’t recommend this company to neighbors because I am too embarrassed that they get the same treatment I got. Clean up completes the job. With out clean up it takes away from the actual job. I will suggest employees needs to be trained that clean up completes the job. They worked about five or ten minutes max and not everyday. The only time they spend a couple hours was to put the gravel and clean up wasn’t done. I had to go out the country so I couldn’t be consumed with the lack of with the company. Less
