I’ve been working with Joshua for over five years now and there’s no one I trust more with my hair. I basically let the guy do what he thinks would look best and with that has come complete confidence in the product. Whether it’s a haircut or coloring she’s arguably one of the best in Manhattan.

Juliet did an amazing job on my hair! She crafted a perfect lob with just the right layers to add volume. Usually, it takes me 1-2 weeks to get used to a new haircut, but this is the first time I liked it immediately. I highly recommend Juliet, who is talented and fabulous, and the salon, which is cozy and stylish.

I LOVE JULIET!!!Perfect consultation, wash, cut, blowout. I’ve had meh experiences with curly cuts in other situations, and this one was phenomenal. My hair looked just as good with a blowout as it does now curly.The layers are layering, and I have more volume than ever. I also love how Juliet took time with my hair, and I also loved talking to Vilma and the owner!!!

I hesitated about writing this review because everyone else has left such positive comments and I want to support a small business, but I am really disappointed by my haircut. Many of my friends have told me it looks bad (first time ever) and Josh actually missed some weird long strands by accident that I had to ask my partner to cut. He also cut my hair dry and used a razor on it, which his apprentice said at the time was difficult to pull off. I have waited almost a month for it to look better, but it is just getting worse and worse. I also showed him a photo of what I had in mind, but he didn’t seem interested in that and gave me a bob that is really unflattering. Another thing is that his assistant kept taking photos of my hair which at the time I didn’t say anything about, but now I wish they had asked my permission. Maybe some of this is my fault, but I just want to put this out there in case anyone else has had a similar experience and has felt too awkward to write a review.
