Marci. My angel. SO smart. She was my 4th Pelvic PT over the years and by far the best. I had diagnostics done for bad constipation a year earlier. Pelvic PT was recommended (along with a laxative regimen that would’ve ripped me up), so I put it off. Marci read the reports, examined me, and said you’re fine structurally. She showed me the steps to help constipation. She massaged the problem areas, and for the first time in years, I pooped for a week straight. There is NO medical diagnosis,, no meds, contrary to my doctors… it was just a matter of getting my brain and gut communicating again. But: the first session, Marci taught me a routine to do at home, using a foam roller, to body scan and do breath work to relax the body and the nervous system.. This is the brilliance of her holistic, Whole body approach. She knows that everything going on with the pelvic floor Is connected to having a dysregulated nervous system. She connects those dots and provides tools to calm yourself so that you’re functioning and out of pain. For example, she explained that if you’re really stressed, your pelvic floor contracts and actually raises up, which shortens the rectum, which makes it harder to go #2. If there were six stars, I would give her another. I adore Marci, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I miss her! Worth every cent.
