Sunshine Pediatric Day Center in Fort Worth, TX is an exceptional facility for children with special needs.Our 8-year-old daughter, who has been in our care since coming home from the NICU, has always had at-home nursing and constant supervision via cameras. This year, we wanted her to experience something new—an opportunity to socialize and get out of the house, especially before starting school.My wife discovered Sunshine, and it has been an amazing journey so far. The staff are wonderful, the nurses are top-notch, and having in-house OT, PT, and speech therapy is incredibly convenient. Lee and the rest of the team have been fantastic, making us feel confident in our decision. Our daughter, though non-verbal, seems to really enjoy her time there, and we couldn’t be happier.Even though this is our first time not having 24/7 access to see her, we truly feel that she is safe, well-cared for, and thriving at Sunshine. I just love David, CEO and his wonderful, caring staff. I love the ladies they treat the babies as if they are their own. Every morning my son is excited to be there and will knock on the door impatiently for the staff to let us in. If we arrive later than normal I also get a call asking if he/we are okay and are headed their way. Leah, and other staff members are always engaging and playing with my little one when we pick him up. I can not say enough good things about this place. They share about his day, things he learns, therapy skills he’s working on and are awesome cheerleaders/ advocates for him. They have been a true blessing giving us reliable, supportive and consistent care. I never have to worry about what goes on while I am not with him. Less
