In April I visited Winstanley & Son and bought a pair of varifocals. The service was excellent from start to finish. Every member of staff was kind, professional and efficient. For the first time in many years I have a pair of glasses that fit my face, look nice and do the job of helping me see properly! I was seen as a person not just a customer. They helped me choose a frame and gave good advice as to style and size. I will definitely go back.

The team are absolutely Amazing Gavin the technician is highly skilled and experienced, he repaired my severely damaged glasses after I sat on them. I can’t thank him enough!.. He saved the day as I was able to drive the following day to complete an important assessment for my job. Thank you once again team I so grateful for your professionalism.

After struggling with my varifocals for 3 years I saw Gavin's social media post advertising Winstanley & Son Opticians as Merseysides number 1 for varifocals so I thought id give it a go. From completing the enquiry form the service has been impeccable! Lyn and Andrea are an absolute credit to the company, so friendly, knowledgeable, professional and kind. Andrew the Optician was fantastic and very thorough with a cracking sense of humour. Gavin is amazing and really knows his stuff, he has actually taught me how to wear my glasses, yes I realise that sounds ridiculous but its true! My lenses are 100% its like seeing in a whole new world! Cannot recommend Winstanley & Son enough, so incredibly professional but also make you feel so comfortable like your their friend, but one of the things that really stood out for me was there was no hard sell.If you're thinking about it and had problems with your glasses dont think about it anynore just get yourself there. 100% worth travelling for too.
