I saw their advert on Instagram promoting their expertise in varifocals, and they certainly lived up to it. I’d had problems with my previous pair, and they immediately understood and explained that it was something they hear quite often.The service was excellent from start to finish — friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout. Most importantly, the end result is fantastic. These are genuinely the best glasses I’ve ever had.Thank you, guys! Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for varifocals.

Been thinking about varifocals for a couple of years now and have popped into a couple of the big chain opticians and another local independent over that time. Wasn’t feeling the vibe at all with any of them.Saw the Facebook ad for Winstanley and thought I’d give them a try. Not disappointed at all.Staff all really friendly and helpful, but most of all down to earth. Honest advice without the sales pitch and when I said I was going on holiday Gavin went above and beyond to get my glasses ready on time.Customer for life now. Thanks.

Prices are extremely competitive. , Gavin took the time to explain how vary focal glasses work, without an overload of information. I purchased the whole offer which is being run at the moment. Excellent service. Receptionist Lynn was a delight to speak too. Gavin was extremely knowledgeable and talked endlessly on latest lens technology which I was interested in. After hearing him out, I decided to go for the Nikon lens and the difference is like night and day compared to my old (5 month old lens) which I had done from a well known high street opticians. Albeit slightly on the expensive side it is pretty much you get what you paid for. Very happy with the service and quality of the Nikon lens. Definitely know where to go to get my next set of glasses.
