I joined Hôm in August 2025, after watching their classes from afar (aka treadmills at Pure Gym) when I saw they opened their own gym, I decided to take the leap to actually take my fitness goals seriously - after years of winging it on cardio machines, the occasional body pump class, or following a YouTube video, but never seeing a real difference in my body (plus I wasn’t consistent enough). As soon as I walked into Hôm, I knew this was somewhere that was really unique. Coaches that actually care and want the best for you, but also understand when life is life-ing. A place where you can go to train as part of a class who all cheer you on, push you to go that little heavier, but also understand when you just need a day to be in your own head. I always feel better after a session! Between Jared, Nitin and Ro, they are your personal cheerleaders who want you to succeed but also are there to have a laugh (or laugh at) and they are the most supportive coaches I’ve ever met both in the gym and over WhatsApp. Since August I’ve been attending Hôm 3 times a week, and I’ve only ever missed 1 session (which is the longest fitness commitment I’ve ever had!). The sessions are structured so you always progress, and they sneakily make it harder every week. They help you understand why you’re doing the moves, how to make them better and even figure out why your body may not move the same as others (didn’t know my knees weren’t exactly ‘right’ I came to Hôm!) but they make amendments and tailor each move to the individual. I’ve managed to even encourage a friend to join, who is also making phenomenal progress both mentally and physically.Who knew I’d love lifting weights! Great gym, great coaches and a great sense of community x
