I've always wanted to learn to dance, and Nashville Salsa Dancing has been the perfect place to start! Nicole is an amazing teacher—supportive, skilled, and really great at breaking things down for all levels. Within just a few classes, I felt confident in my foundational skills and comfortable dancing with other people (and I'm as awkward as they come.)She doesn’t just teach steps—she covers etiquette too, like how to be a respectful lead, who can ask who to dance (everyone!), etc. She also never fails to teach you how to look great while moving through different combinations.The community she has helped build is fantastic--there are classes for every level, chances to practice in the studio, and a fun group of people who go out dancing together at salsa nights downtown. This place is an absolute gem and I have no idea how there’s not a waiting list to get in. Nicole is truly one of the best teachers I’ve ever come across. 4/2025 update: I am now in what is considered a level 3 class and it’s been amazing. From the friendships to social dancing it’s been a joy to be able to social dance whenever I can.things the reason I joined and this is experience is what I can’t stop talking about.Huge space with tons of parking. The instructors know their stuff and the ballroom/area is huge for classes. I have taken their salsa foundations class (level1) and its so fun. A great way to meet people in Nashville and to get into the dance community. I plan on going again for the foundations 2 and leveling up. They also have different class like: belly dancing, tango, etc. Less
