When I went back Feb 2026 there wasn’t the same range of salads and allergy friendly foods.Fantastic fresh salads, beautifully made coffee, yummy treats. During the day they offer the best coffee you’ll find, they use a specialty blend that stands out.At night the dinner options are broad and of a standard that belies the ‘cafe’ brand, it is equal to any of the fancy restaurants on the lake, the seafood is fresh and impeccable. The pizza and pides deserve their own rant, the dough was mouthwatering and the toppings again obviously fresh and made with care.Get in whilst it’s still a secret destination for foodies.And I can’t do a full review without mentioning the lovely staff and owners, they are welcoming and attentive, no pretension here, just a heartfelt service standard that hits the right notes. (The one star review about staff was under previous management)

Amazing food, seasoned chicken breast cooked to perfection (juicy). Sirloin and Gnochhi were also absolutely delicious. Great work to the boys in the Kitchen and the lovely girl in the front of house. Just how we wanted our dinner to be. Thank you and will be back soon.

Stumbled across this cafe as the one we intended to go to had a long wait. Well, safe to say we won’t bother going back to the other place - Giles St Cafe is better. Firstly, the atmosphere is warm. Instantly loved it upon meeting the friendly staff, and great looking menu. We just hoped the food lived up to everything else. Pleased to report the food did not disappoint! Chilli crab scrambled was incredible! The amount of crab through it was very generous, and the flavours of everything put together was so yummy. Kids meals also very reasonably priced, and come with a milkshake! What a win!Safe to say we won’t bother going back to the original place we planned, and happily come here. Everything was on point.

We tried out the new dinner service. We shared a delicious pizza as an entree, followed by superior seafood mains. The meals were excellent and very reasonable having regard to the quality.
