She gently woke me up to tell me it was finished and left the room so I could dress. I'm glad I had a ride home because my body felt like jello. I didn't feel any pain. And after being pregnant for 9 months it felt like heaven. Also...I don't know what oil they used but my skin was so soft and smelt so good and I swear it helped with my stretch marks. Extremely Disappointed – Painful Experience and Poor Customer Service I’ve been a loyal member here for 2 years, but after my recent experience, I will not be returning. I received a massage that left me in pain for days. The pain was so severe that I had to cancel work appointments and spend two days in bed with a heating pad. Even a week later, I'm still sore from the so-called “massage” I received. To make matters worse, the facial massage left me with visible bruising. I reached out to the manager, Rae, to share my experience. She was helpful in processing the cancellation of my membership and mentioned that she was waiting to hear back from the general manager about any further steps they could take. However, when the general manager, Lindsey, finally responded, it felt like an automated text. Her replies were short, rude, and clearly showed no concern for a long-time client who was injured by a service intended to bring relief and relaxation. I'm not only in physical pain but also feel completely ignored and disregarded. This is extremely frustrating, and I'm appalled that a business would treat its loyal clients in this manner. I strongly advise others to steer clear of Massage Envy in Lee’s Summit. Less

I said ok and walked out.They didn't bother saying or asking if they can help me in another way or asked if I wanted to reschedule a different appointment. Nothing. This left a bad taste in my mouth. His name is Ronelle and the biggest benefit I can say about him is that he has made an active effort to remember my injuries from prior car accidents and has been able to advance his own knowledge to help me. However, the checkout process was frustrating because my gift card was unable to be recognized in the system most likely due to a problem at the location it was purchased at. My departure was delayed by several minutes when multiple people tried to track down the validity of this card which was embarrassing. I had received this card as a Christmas present from my boyfriend. I was told that the $20 tip that was to be allotted from the excess of this card may not be able to be applied and given to my massage provider, Megan. And I may need to call up later to provide a credit card to be able to give her gratuity. Very frustrating.I later got a call from Lindsey, indicating that we may need to call the store where we originally purchased the card from and prove the purchase so that they could confirm the gift card validity. I voiced my frustration but was told by Lindsay well I’m sorry but as it is, I’m having to comp the massage until we get this figured out and you may still have to pay for the gratuity separately if you’re wanting her to receive one. So now, myself, and my boyfriend were now involved in tracking down the proof of this gift card. We are finally able to do that. I do not feel like this was handled very well, nor that I received an adequate apology for the way this whole thing was handled. She very timidly squeezed my legs THROUGH the blanket, barely touched my feet and shoulders were done one handedly with minimal pressure through my shirt ... It's as if she didn't want to touch me! I am a very clean person so I can't imagine why I was treated this way. Halfway through I simply wanted it to end but when it did she turned the lights up, told me to be careful getting down from the table IM SEVEN MONTHS PREGNANT and slipped out without another word. It was all so .... NOT RELAXING. I quickly fathered my things wanting to pay and leave. I'm a very clean person and very polite and was looking forward to doing something nice for myself after a very hard pregnancy and I left feeling horrible ... They stopped me at the front to ask me about memberships and I graciously listened, paid and even tipped ... But I can't help feeling like I paid $90 to be discriminated against. I left feeling extremely sad and NOT relaxed. Less

However, you have to make it through the bored and unprofessional front staff. For instance, you could say you would like an appointment at a certain time on a certain day and they will always say it's not available and they will NEVER offer an alternative. You have to prompt them every time to look for the next available appointment for the service you're asking about. Then they're frustrated with you. Why have a membership and rack up credits you can never get scheduled to use? The front desk has been a problem since approximately November 2021. My preferred massage therapist moved away and instead of telling me this, they had me call everyday for a week or two before they angrily told me he doesn't work there anymore. You could try scheduling online, but the website will have you believe you can't schedule a massage and a facial on the same day. Sometimes it doesn't recognize 30 minute slots. Today I called to schedule a massage and a 30 minute stretch. After going through the above struggle of finding a day, she tells me a therapist is available but only for 90 minutes. I couldn't book a 60 minute massage and a 30 minute stretch. It was a 90 minute massage or nothing. What sense does that make? Just disappointing because this is the closest massage envy to me. I need to use my credits, but I can't because scheduling is a nightmare. Less

I will call this place Monday through Friday weekly and they would never schedule me for appointment because they were always booked or too busy they essentially got $420 worth of massage credits for me that I never was able to use because they were always busy at this location when I tried to go to other locations I would hear the same response as far as how busy they were when I cancel I could not get any of my money back and they kept my $420 and essentially got $420 out of me with ever having to do their job their refund policy is the most bogus thing I’ve ever seen and I would recommend anybody who has an issue to speak to the corporate office Less

Which is a pleasant opposite from the caios of my light, loud 4 kids yelling, screaming, and running zone. I went into the facial room, and there I met a wonderful inspiring women. " melodie" her name matches her abilities. I not only left with a beautifully smooth face, but a rejuvenated spirit. A happiness of doing something good and nice for my self. And most of all someone who made me relaxed, comterable and treated me with care. I absolutely 💯 recommend anyone who has never done this to invest in themselves with this oddly described " face vacation". They’re good with scheduling as far as flexibility, however, I find it uncomfortable that I never have the same massage therapist. Each visit I have to explain my preferences and meet someone new. It makes the whole experience less relaxing. I’d prefer to see the same person each time and skip the small talk, explaining of my preferences etc.... More

The chart of tips is incorrect, I wanted to give a 15% tip, asked the front counter person about the chart, she told me $9.00 on a $40 bill was 15 %. I think she needs a math class. Major problems with shoulder. Kara did great job and shoulder is much better today
I had Chris and he is awesome. I prefer firmer pressure and he is good at deep tissue. Chris continues to ask if pressure is OK. The day of my appointment my Boss and friend had passed away 1 hour before my appointment. I canceled immediately but later called to reschedule.
