Thank you ever so much for a wonderful Valentine's matchmaking event at the Santa Barbara Polo Club. It was truly transformational. I learned a lot and met many wonderful people. I felt like some of the women and I might be friends moving forward, and, of course, the men were cute too! I would come to a similar event in a heartbeat! I was talking with other women and they said the same. I am sure this took so much work and effort to pull together, that being said, if you held one every month or every other month, I would be there. I was blown away by the quality of the guests, the food, the organization, the raffle gifts, the stations with jewelry, makeup, photo booth, and tarot card reader. It was so much fun. D.J. Joseph spun dance-worthy tunes all night. This event could not have gone any better. I left feeling hopeful, and thinking that we all had made a positive difference, met great folks, and built community. I also felt like my life seemed good and a sense of peace and contentment is still washing over me, reminding me to have patience, and take some calculated risks of continuing to put myself "out there," and that my life's companion will find me, and I will find him, when the timing is right.
