After doing a lot of research and comparing quotes from multiple business, I chose to go with RK Solar. Every person I spoke to from the business was helpful and friendly. Their price was quite competitive. Not the cheapest quote I found, but a cheaper proposal from another company came with an unpleasant sales process that felt a lot like a hard-sell. The online proposal that RK Solar gave me was also pretty fancy compared to basic PDF quotes from other businesses. The actual installation of the panels and inverter went very smoothly. There was a small misunderstanding about my need for a sunshade for the inverter, but that was fixed up very quickly after I called them. Less

It’s been 3 1/2 years since our 7.2kW solar PV system was installed by RK Solar. There hasn’t been a glitch in all that time. During major renovations in 2018, they specified to our electricians what wiring provisions would be needed for installation, and it’s all worked perfectly. I love monitoring production against demand. We can get 45kWh/day in summer. We have a big house and over a year, the solar PV covers around 25% of my power, and reduces costs by at least 30%. Being committed to do what we can to support the Climate transition of the economy, we've converted our home to electric. Solar is an important part of that, and RK Solar has been an excellent provider. Throughout the process they have been highly responsive. The installation was extremely efficient with everything done in just one day. There were of course quite a few planning discussions to get the number of panels and battery configuration right. The system - day 1 - is already covering all our energy needs, and the battery is fully charged. Solar can be a complex space; my experience is that this team are great at helping with all your questions.
