We are so grateful to have found Ron and his team and Curran's Karate through a school fundraiser!They are diligent but fun in working with kids at their level not only to teach the physical skills but the respect, discipline and integrity that go along with them. The Curran's team also promotes and encourages life skill development at all ages and actively supports all of their members in personal growth efforts however they can.They say it takes a village to raise kids, and we are so honoured to have Ron and his team as part of ours!!

My 4-year-old absolutely loves going to karate here! He’s developed better focus, confidence, and skill. Sensei Jack is an awesome teacher and great with kids. Definitely recommend!

Currans Karate has offered not only a physical outlet for my son but also has taught him plenty of ‘life’ lessons.From confidence, to focus I see my son benefit from both his in class experience and from the advice I’ve been able to apply from Sensai Ron.Sensai Jack’s welcoming, genuine personality and ability to engage is such an asset to this dojo, I would absolutely recommend Currans for anyone looking to start an extra curriculum.Again Currans offers so much more then a physical outlet, they genuinely care about my son’s life progress and are always willing to chat about where he is at and what could help him achieve valuable life skills.

My daughter has been going to this dojo for over a year and has loved it. It has really helped with her confidence.However, one day she came home crying and decided she didn’t want to go back. When I raised concerns to the dojo they were incredibly responsive and thoroughly investigated what could have caused her sudden change of heart. They then worked with her one on one for as long as we needed (at no extra cost) until she was ready to rejoin the class.I really felt that they went above and beyond. So many other places would have just said “sorry it didn’t work out” and sent us on our way. Instead, this dojo worked with us to address her fears and get her back on track. I really appreciated what they did for our family and am so happy my daughter got over her hump.

My kids really enjoyed coming to Currans Karate. They learned a lot of new skills, built their confidence and had fun. Great atmosphere!
