I genuinely cannot recommend Ben & SAF Sports & Family Podiatry highly enough. Ben is everything you could hope for in a healthcare professional — exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate and genuinely invested in helping his patients. He takes the time to listen, explain things clearly and make you feel that your concerns really matter. Having dealt with some VERY challenging and frustrating foot and leg issues, I feel incredibly lucky to have found Ben. And I cannot thank him enough for his expertise, patience and encouragement. He consistently goes above and beyond, and it's clear that he genuinely cares about the people he treats. The word family in the practice's name couldn't be more fitting. An exceptional podiatrist and a genuinely lovely person. Thank you, Ben, for everything.

Dr Ben has been wonderful and very caring in treating my Morton’s Neuroma - helping me to understand this condition and taking solutions for my foot. I can’t recommend him enough!

What a welcoming, professional, supportive and caring experience my first visit to Ben was yesterday. I received a thorough examination of my foot, reflective listening to my problems and initial advice a degree of support was given- until further investigations can show the real cause of my situation. Then a very thorough email summarising my visit was sent with ‘what to do’ and ‘where to from here’ A very positive and supportive experience - thank you.

The attention to detail and the tailored care provided by Ben and the team is truly outstanding. My plantar fasciitis was addressed and healed within a handful of sessions, and was supported by a care plan for maintenance and longevity.

Ben worked me with from a base level of running fitness to running my first half marathon. He took a hands-on approach to assess my overall movement, prescribed custom orthotics, and worked with me to help resolve lingering ankle and knee soreness while running faster times and improving overall strength. He also provided some cool data and insight on my running stride and where I can improve things in the gym. I definitely recommend Ben to anyone, particularly runners of any level.

Attended here after recommendation from a Sports Physiologist after my previous attempts to progress with my torn plantar faciitis had failed.I found a very pleasant Ben Sweeting to be genuinely caring and interested in my plight and proceeded with a very thorough questioning and examination.I had some small devices strapped around each ankle and after using the walking machine, Ben had a clearer view of my underfoot.Ben strapped my foot and gave me specific exercises to begin a gradual loading phase, which was what I was hoping for. He made sure my foot was able to withstand this pressure, with some simple calf raises to begin with. The waiting room was spotless and a provided a comfortable, quiet area to browse the footwear, etc for sale. The young receptionist lad was very personable with a happy smile to greet you when you arrive.I was sent an email of my invoice and a comprehensive report from Ben detailing what we had discussed in our appointment that day.Parking was busy but I was able to find a spot both times.Have had my second appointment with Ben and happy to recommend.

Ben is the best. His understanding of my feet issues and application of treatments and regime of exercises always work to get my feet back to their pain free, optimal confition.

My 16-year-old son has been seeing a podiatrist ever year since he was 2. While we liked his previous podiatrist, it became harder to get appointments and required travelling across town. After reading the 5-star reviews for Sports and Family Podiatry, we decided to give them a try.Caitlin was fantastic. She was friendly, engaging, very thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. She is currently fitting my son with personalised orthotics using the latest technology. The turnaround time is a huge bonus. We got an appointment within a week, and the orthotics will be ready in just one week, compared to the long wait times we were used to.Carolyn at reception was also very friendly and welcoming. We’re really happy with the experience so far and would highly recommend Sports and Family Podiatry.

Sports and Family Podiatry are both professional and personal. Their web page info and data collection was easy to fill out and was comprehensive. So on arrival for the first appointment there was no clip board to bother with. The podiatrist I saw - Caitlin Spencer is simply the best practitioner Ive ever had and that’s important when you suffer from ingrown nails.

Receptionist was very efficient and friendly. Caitlin looked after my needs. Extremely thorough, knowledgeable, gentle. Asked pertinent questions and gave me a few not previously known pointers. The precinct adjoining the Clem Jones Centre at Carina is obviously growing its profile in the “health and wellness” space with a growing list of health professionals setting up. Good parking available as well. Would definitely go back and highly recommend Sports and Family Podiatry at Carina.
