Absolutely LOVE this restaurant! The food and service are great and the staff really takes pride in their work! Such a friendly atmosphere! Adding to my original review....This is my family's absolute favorite place to eat. We haven't found one thing on the menu that we don't like. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is amazing! The sushi is delicious, the steaks are seasoned and cooked perfectly, and if you dine during lunch hours, their fish & chips are SO good! My husband and I LOVE the sushirittos offered on the lunch menu as well. If you're craving sushi and not sure what to select, just ask for the chef special, and the sushi chefs will create absolute delicious magic on the plate for you. They also have the best miso soup I have ever had, and their gyzo soup is equally delicious. The ginger salads are another favorite of our family's and we've actually bought their ginger and honey mustard dressings to have at home too! Their yaki soba takes me back to when I was stationed in Japan for a few years. You just can't go wrong coming here. We eat here more than ANY other place when we eat out! I know there are people who leave false negative reviews because they have a competing restaurant and that's just really wrong to do. Our family has been coming here since they opened. I lived in Misawa Japan for several years...I am NO "sushi virgin." I am over 60 years old and have dined MANY places across the world and this is my absolute favorite!

We are regulars. This is our main stop for sushi, squid salad, and seeweed salad. Good portions and great price. Today I got a Red Bull roll (left), and my fav Salmon skin roll and shrimp asparagus roll (ma’s fav). They may be short staffed but the food is still on point ! 2025 and food is not the same 😳. Somebody keeps putting these unnecessary sauces and flakes on perfectly great sushi…thus ruining it. Plus, allergies dummy. Even specifically requested NO SAUCE. Im going elsewhere now 2025. People need to read or not be hired. Trying to kill people “On the Cool”

We go to Samurai quite a bit and usually the service is fast and efficient. Tonight we had Dakota for our server and he definitely needs some additional training. We waited almost 10min for our drinks and soup, which we had to wave him down and ask for them again. The soup was barely warm. Usually the little cart brings your food out and your server is right there to take it off the cart and place it on the table, not tonight. Then we had to wave him down again to get our check. This service is not normal for their high standards and very disappointing.
