I appreciate Alex taking his time to share his knowledge with us. We have a small class on Tuesday mornings so we receive quite a bit of detail in the instruction phase and it gives us more time in application and practice during rolls.

As a road warrior, work took me to Ohio and I was super happy to train at Ohio Academy of Jiu Jitsu. Much appreciation to Derek and his team for welcoming me to train for a day. Facility was spacious with plenty of mat space, instruction was well structured, and the members were just as welcoming as the coaches. Derek clearly knows his BJJ and echoes the martial arts ethos, including enthusiastically sharing knowledge with a traveler like myself. I will definitely return when I’m back in the area!

Great place. My 6 and 7 year olds like the coaches and the atmosphere. I have tried several jujitsu gyms before settling here and I drive an hour 1 way because I found it to be the best one for us. My son started competing (optional) with the gym after never doing it before and started loving it.Would recommend to all parents looking to expand their kids self defense, fitness, and confidence.

I had the opportunity to drop for a class today and couldn’t of had a better experience. Everything about this gym is first class, from the instructors, to the people and the overall gym. If your looking to start jujitsu, there’s no better place than here. Thanks for the opportunity to train.
