Class Act!To provide a safe environment for my senior self in the shower, I contracted with Clean Corners Construction to make it happen.From the initial telephone contact and subsequent in-person contacts with Julio, owner and founder of the company, and Yvan, the company liaison, I found knowledge, passion, and transparency in the quality of work they promised to provide. Together, we developed a plan to convert a Roman, cast iron bathtub with a shower component in place for over 36 years to a walk-in shower only. While the project was fully designed before work began, the company offered full support for change of any magnitude during the process.The project began at full speed on the following Monday. The foreman, Ismael, and his crew member, Rodrigo (?), started early to transform the existing configuration to one that would look as though the space was always intended to be the elegant shower that was revealed at project’s end. Over a period of several days, this two-man crew worked quickly and companionably to prepare the area for tile.Without delay, the next team headed by the tile installer, Ivan, and his crew members, Pedro (1) and Pedro (2), began additional preparation for installing wall and floor tile. I felt very connected when Ivan brought me into the process with questions as to my preferences for directional placement of the large wall tiles and for where cuts would provide the best appearance.Gerardo, project supervisor, offered suggestions/solutions which included an upgrade to the ceiling light fixture, a tiled ramp instead of a step into the shower, and a drain relocation. He arranged for the grout to be fully reworked to accommodate my concerns in two areas. And he directed that paint be applied to the entire bathroom ceiling to best match the new paint in the shower ceiling. All of this was provided with no change to the price and terms of the contract.Julio consistently demonstrated his company’s stated commitment to provide high quality products and service to maximize the effect of the bathtub to shower conversion that he helped me define.Yvan very ably provided project status updates, coordinated product delivery, and offered ready availability to address any concerns I might have.Throughout the two plus weeks of construction, all representatives of the company exhibited courtesy to me and each other and respect for my property. Kudos to all.

As first time home owners, we experienced extensive water damage in our kitchen in Ahwahtukee due to a leaky pipe. We contacted several general contractors from Yelp. Julio from Clean Corners immediately responded and quickly provided estimates for our repairs. This was not the same from other general contractors we spoke to. Julio guided us through the entire process in a honest and fair way. His team was top notch, and very respectful of our house during the construction. During the reconstruction of our kitchen, several additional problems with our house were discovered. We opted to use Clean Corners to fix these issues because of how excellent Julio and his team were. All of the work that Julio and his team did on our house was excellent. We all have heard horror stories about general contractors, especially regarding poor communication. This was not our experience with Julio from Clean Corners. Anytime we had a question regarding our large reconstruction project, he was immediately available via text/phone call. He was very visible throughout the entire two month long project, ensuring everything was progressing as expected and that we were happy. We would highly recommend Julio and Clean Corners for anyone looking for a general contractor.
