Brought my daughter's vehicle to Terry because I had the vehicle towed to a certain dealership on Rt.46 in Dover, NJ. The car was telling me it was overheating and an engine light came on. Fine. Brought it there and it took them 4-days to tell me I had $6,000 dollars in repairs to be made because of what the computer told them. No way! My wife got Terry's business card from a friend and had the card towed there! When car arrived I explained the situation and Terry already had an idea of what was going on, but needed to run some tests on the vehicle. In the end, it wound up being a bad thermostat sensor that led to a cascading effect with all of the other check engine lights and cost me less than 10 percent of the $6,000 estimate from a certain dealership on Rt.46 in Dover, NJ. Go see Terry for an honest estimate, and great automotive repair. Definitely going back for future automotive work!

Terry and his employees are the best!! I have lived in the area for 3 years and have used Terry's Automotive Center exclusively for my oil changes and other auto needs. Recently I took my auto to Terry's for a new battery and hood struts as well as an overall inspection of the vehicle as I will be driving cross-country shortly. Terry is honest - let me say that first and foremost. He could have told me the car needed major work, but, no, he did not. The car checked out perfectly with the exception of my front brakes which he did say was not a major issue at the time, just that they were a little worn down and nearing the end of their life. I had the brakes changed - better safe than sorry is my motto. By the way, I am a single senior citizen lady and I recommend Terry's Automotive to everybody in the area - he is the BEST!!!

The car works so well and the people are so so kind and professional. Our AC is all fixed and new for a way cheaper price than other auto shops. I feel so bad for the review I wrote before but we will certainly be coming back. Thank you for opening the shop after hours so we could receive our car. I wasn't amazed by this place. They did get the job done, but the mechanic left early! We saw him leaving the lot and we had to wait an entire whole day to get our car back even when we told him we were going to make it just before they closed. Won't be going back.

This was my second major visit to Terry's. My AC stopped working at the beginning of this heat wave. Terry was able to slip me in and evaluate and fix my AC. Being a senior woman and having an aging car I have been really ripped off by a couple of other places. I appreciate and recommend Terry's Automotive, always very courteous, explained all repairs that were needed and mostly I felt like I could trust what he said I needed without it being my entire car needed everything on it to be replaced. He will always be my go to mechanic.
