OC Builders is arguably the premiere one-stop concierge design, development and construction Group in OC. We used them to completely gut and remodel our 1970s era kitchen. A well-oiled machine, they have a process that has been refined over many years to approach each new project in a highly organized workflow. They sub-contract with all the various trades needed for a major home remodel - design/architecture, granite, carpentry/cabinetry, plumbing, electrical etc, so you only have one point person to work with who communicates and coordinates all activities. We never had to worry about anything - it was simply taken care of; any questions or concerns we had were immediately addressed. We lived in our home while our kitchen was being remodeled - start to finish it was a full year, but time flies and they made the process as comfortable and pain-free as they humanly could. Before we moved in, they sent Adriana in to clean our new kitchen to a shiny sparkle, so all we had to do was unbox and move back in. Our project coordinator was Rob Shaw; he puts together a binder which is used for reference for all aspects of the build and available to all the subs at any time. He is fastidious in getting things to look right and work right; he is our advocate at all times. He checks in many times a week, checks on progress and communicates issues with detailed notes, pics and videos that he sends to subs. Jordy K is our designer extraordinaire; she is highly capable and asks the right questions to better understand your vision and will gently walk you through other (better) options you might not have considered, from a cost standpoint. OC Builders is not out to price gouge - they will work to save you as much money as they can without compromising quality. Fit and finish is always top notch. They clean up after they work, employ tarps for dust control; they are immensely professional and considerate. They anticipate every problem that might arise so you never notice that there was even a problem in the first place. You can expect daily updates on what has been accomplished every day, and what will be done tomorrow, and whom to expect at the house, and at what time. Their payment process is extremely user-friendly; there's a payment schedule for every major block of work completed; invoices are easily paid online. Do yourself a favor, call them - you will not be disappointed, especially if quality and a pain-free experience without hassle or headache is what you're looking for. Integrity wise, there simply is no competition and they will go so far as to eat costs to ensure you have the absolute best experience ever. As we finish up the kitchen, they are already working on remodeling our guest powder room. I love these guys, and hands-down, you will too.

Good designers, good workmen, great office. Responsive. Returned to fix a very few minor problems promptly. Would highly recommend this firm for your construction needs. Fair prices also. Did our kitchen, flooring, 2 bathrooms. To the condo from Game of Thrones to the 21st century. Call them. They don’t pressure you.

It's never ideal to be without a kitchen & laundry for 5 months but we'd do it again with OC Builders in a heartbeat. They are a well oiled machine - very organized, reliable, communicative, and will remedy any mistakes. We absolutely LOVE our new kitchen and apparently we are not the only ones. Their quality of work is topnotch. We will definitely miss working with them - shoutout to Rob, Brianda, Evan, Stacey, Israel.

First and foremost, if OC Builders said they were going to do something, I slept well at night knowing they would. I cannot overstate how nice it was to never worry if things would get done. We never worried about crews showing up or work being done. People always showed up when they were scheduled to and we were always kept up to date on any scheduling changes. From start to finish, OC Builders Group's communication with us was excellent. There was a daily text sharing the work done that day, the plan for the next day, and the crew's expected arrival time. Any questions or concerns we had were promptly responded to within the group text. Almost without fail, when we sent a text with a question or request, Brianda or Evan would respond within a few hours. It was impressive and an extremely nice experience. Rob and Brian worked with communicating what needed to be done with the crews and were both always willing to answer our questions and brainstorm solutions to the hiccups that come with doing construction. Haim, our project manager, was a DREAM to work with. He always listened to our concerns and made sure they were addressed. It often felt like we didn't even need to fully explain our thoughts because he was so in-tune and just "got it" before we even said anything. Whenever we needed something, Haim made it happen. We would work with Haim again in a heartbeat. When things went wrong, OC Builders was quick to remedy the issue. They were proactive in finding solutions and ultimately always made sure we were comfortable with the resolution. When we wanted things done differently or fixed, OC Builders fixed them without ever pushing back or complaining--no matter how major or minor the issue was. When a delay beyond their control happened, they re-worked the construction schedule and timeline to minimize the impact of the delay and keep things moving. When the paint in the corner of our dining room didn't turn out the way we wanted, they came back to fix it. Overall, we are so pleased with how everything turned out and very grateful that our experience with OC Builders was a positive one--from our first consultation to our final walkthrough.
