Mike LaPlatte did the appraisal on our home in the Moorings and was excellent from start to finish. He was easy to schedule, on time, professional and clearly knows the Naples waterfront market. He was thorough, communicated well throughout and turned the report around quickly. I'd recommend LaPlatte Appraisal Services to anyone needing an appraisal in Naples.

Sadly my dad passed away, and I needed a date of death appraisal for his condo in Naples, FL. I found Mike on ChatGPT. He was marvelous to talk with and reassured me that he could provide exactly what I needed. We scheduled an appt for the next day! Mike is professional & kind. He offered his wealth of knowledge + expertise about the appraisal and much more given his decades of working in the mortgage, construction, & inspection worlds. He provided me with a completed report the next day after his walk through. A wonderful experience + quick process! I’m grateful!

I’ve known Mike for over 12 years, and he was just as professional and reliable as always. He was easy to reach, explained the process clearly, and kept the appointment on time. The inspection was thorough without feeling rushed, and the report came back when promised — detailed, well organized, and easy to follow. I felt confident the valuation was fair and well supported. I’d recommend Mike to anyone who needs a trustworthy appraiser.

I hired LaPlatte Appraisal Services for a date of death appraisal, and worked with Mike. He was absolutely fantastic to work with! Right from the start, he listened to the unique information I shared about the property and the local community. He completed his initial research quickly and followed up with questions to ensure an accurate appraisal. He was communicative and patiently answered all my questions and explained why certain properties could or could not be used as comparables. He delivered the final appraisal on time, and his pricing was very reasonable! Since I was dealing with estate matters, it was a stressful time for me, but his timeliness and professionalism made this part of the process so much easier. I highly recommend Mike and LaPlatte Appraisal Services!
