Please reach out to him if you were considering someone else. Of all the quotes we received, Carports Hawaii had the best price so we scheduled an appointment to check out Mario’s shop in Hawaii Kai. We got to see the actual materials that would be installed prior to putting down a single cent and he took the time to answer all of our questions and walk us through the process. We were able to customize the colors that we wanted for both the poles that supported the structure and the color of tint on the overhead paneling. We were debating getting a custom size as well, but what he had in stock was just a few square feet smaller than what we wanted so we decided not to wait for a custom piece. Mario then scheduled with us to check out our house (just two days later) and drove over to plot out the project which only took a few minutes. We have substantially uneven roofs (one part about 18” higher than the other) which I thought would complicate things but he assured us it could be done and showed us some pictures of what prior clients had done with similar roofing (we actually haven’t had to make any modifications). Just a few days later Mario came again to drop off most of the supplies (posts, panels) at which time we put down a deposit of half the total payment. He let us know the time frame of guaranteed installation but also told us if existing projects finished ahead of time, that he might be able to squeeze us in as long as we were able to confirm we’d be home to allow access to the deck. He absolutely delivered. He was able to fit us in and after 2 1/2 days of work by his team, we had a new deck covering. Although I assume this is highly atypical, only 3 weeks had passed from the time we had first contacted him until we were enjoying our now-covered patio. Mario called us each day after his workers finished to make sure that everything was done professionally and that we were satisfied. He was out of country at the time but came over to inspect the work after he got back. Overall, I don’t see how he could’ve made it any easier for us and I can’t think of a single thing I’d want that he didn’t provide. Less

They made sure we understood all our options with design and location and considered more variables like the wind factor, sun position, installation obstacles, best color to match our home, the tint level and the strength needed to ensure our patio cover would withstand the test of time. Our home (like many older Hawaii homes) is single wall construction and we were worried that this would limit our options but Mariusz explained everything and made it work. We were also worried about how the patio cover would look attached to our older home - but it actually makes our home look better! We are so pleased with how it turned out and especially pleased with how quick they had it installed - it took them only 2 days! If you're considering having them install a cover for you - do it! So fare a very good product, unlike other places I had a chance to but and be installed within 3 days from the order. The carport it self make huge difference of how we use our cars, I have a older truck and running quick errands was a nightmare. So hot and AC would not even kick in before i got to the store or post office. Now i'm not afraid to get in and do not have to vent the interior prior driving.
