Good morning friends! Please stay away from Funmax until they improve big time! I recommend you go here to Bounce instead where it has bright lights, ample security and staff supervision, and much helpful staff. I say this because my teenage son's friend's shoes and another kids shoes were stolen last night from the shelf at Funmax. Funmax refused to show the mom the video surveillance and claimed that it's too dark to see. What do you mean it's too dark?? So that is also to assume that there is no way that you can 100 percent surveillance all the children and their families in your care?Please be aware using those cubbies and even leaving items away from your sight. Use a locker or have an adult be there to hold your children's items. Although they have the disclaimer they will not be responsible, they are required to have professional camera surveillance and ample security and staff on the grounds at all times, especially since minors are their main cliental. The theft could be anyone including adults. If they can steal shoes they are brave enough to steal other things to include children as well. So please beware and be vigilant.They are filing police reports with other parents as well and are posting on social media and have shared this experience with friends and family that utilize their services. As the holiday breaks are upon us, it will only get worse if Funmax continues to respond with unprofessionalism, show lack of care and are not compassionate, and have no genuine desire to resolve this alarming issue through immediate action. Is this the same way they will respond when a CHILD goes missing????!!! Will you tell parents they can't see the footage because it's too dark???!!! We fear for this day! The staff, who seem to be primarily young and perhaps inexperienced, lack the training necessary to maintain both safety and enjoyment. I saw a poor associate at the front desk repeatedly asking for assistance, which was disheartening. Meanwhile, the associates in the jump section appeared to be congregating together, seemingly indifferent to the families and children in need of guidance. As a guest, it's frustrating to witness a lack of leadership. Shouldn't the manager be proactive, ensuring the facility is operating smoothly instead of making rounds that feel a bit too casual? The essence of what made Bounce so special has been diluted; I long for the days when it felt like a well-oiled machine, driven by a team that was trained, attentive, and passionate about creating an unforgettable experience for everyone. (as i realized it we be more affordable for a mini rate ). So i asked to speak to the manager ( Ashley i think) was nothing short of AMAZING she was super friendly and helpful and was very eager to help us out and make any adjusting accommodations for our party. I must say i think this was the best birthday party for him (as he stated “Best birthday ever”) and it was all thanks to the AMAZING manager and her quick thinking and will to do the right thing and make people happy. The staff was amazing as well. I HIGHLY recommend visiting this place or booking a party. The roller skating is a must. On top of that, there's roller skating for an additional four dollars per head, pickle ball, and other activities to choose from. Since we got there early, there wasn't a line, but as the morning moved on, more people were showing up, so I would suggest purchasing tickets online to speed up your entry. Just really good fun. The children had fun and I will say that the facility was very clean and had plenty to do, but their disorganized management completely ruined the day for our family. The host who was originally assigned to us no called, no showed, so we walked into our party room 15 minutes before our party was supposed to begin with nothing set up. As they were scrambling to find another host, we had to set up the entire party ourselves, which took almost 30 minutes (one of the reasons we chose to have our daughter’s party at Bounce is because setup and takedown were supposed to be included so we could focus on our daughter on her special day). We weren’t assigned another host until 15 minutes into the party. She was very sweet and helpful, but they were clearly understaffed that day, so she wasn’t able to give us our full attention since she needed to be elsewhere during our party. When it was time to eat, nobody came to help us pass out food, which again, was advertised as a perk of having a Bounce party. I explained all of this to the manager and she was less than helpful and sympathetic. She offered me $50 off our $400 party package (a measly 10% discount) and said that was the best she could do. Considering how stressful the day was and the fact that we had to set up, take down, and host the entire party ourselves, all of which someone else was supposed to take care of for us, that was incredibly insulting. Sadly, I will never have another party here again, and I will be advising all of my friends and families to plan their kids’ parties elsewhere. Less

Today is the first time I’ve visited Bounce’s oversized, overwhelming, overstimulating new location in the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall and the one thing that stands out above everything else is the complete lack of security and safety. There are two entrances - one with direct outside parking lot access and one with direct interior mall access. There is NO way to stop anyone from walking in and out with any child they please. There is nothing being done to prevent children from being targeted by strangers entering from the parking lot or the mall. Nothing being done to prevent any adult leaving with ANY child. The facility is so unbelievably large that it feels almost impossible to keep track of your kids unless you are ON them every second. You feel like you cannot relax or take your eyes off them even for a minute. I’m horrified at Bounce’s blatant disregard for child safety. Shame on you. good place at night for jump and glow. please keep the balls in one area they were all at basketball and we only got 4. My kids 6 and 3 loved the place, unfortunately due to the poor cleanliness of the facility my whole family contracted covid. This place is alot of fun but rules aren't enforced, my little ones were being over run by teenagers in the little tyke section. The only thing that was a little concerning was the cleanliness (there were wrappers and dirt in the bottom of the play areas) and the height requirement for the climbing play center is a little bit of a concern . In my opinion I think they should lower the height requirement as I noticed a lot of older kids were in the play area knocking into little ones. Very unique place for kids

They don't clean or repair broken pads.

It was wonderful. The staff was very attentive to the people. For example, my daughter landed wrong on her left ankle on the obstacle course, and as I picked my baby up, staff hovered over us to make sure my daughter's well-being was good, one of them even offered to call 911, I said "no thank you, she just landed wrong". They brought her ice for her ankle, and 10 minutes later, she was jumping a... More

They brought her ice for her ankle, and 10 minutes later, she was jumping around again like if nothing happened. All because they took the time to care for my child and provided ice to prevent any swelling on the ankle. The style of music was a bit too up-to-date, for say more for teenagers and adults than an 8-year-old party 🥳 🎉 but I understand that you have to please the masses and majority of people there were pre-teen and teenagers 👍🏼.
