The Tae Kwon Do classes here have been nothing but excellent! My daughter just recently started but has loved every second of it. We also love that they have leadership join the younger group to help them. All the coaches are great and excellent at instructing.

Our son has been at Yong-In for more than two years and we have seen wonderful, positive developments in his character-building, concentration, dedication, and work ethic. The masters there - Master Kim and his instructors - are all amazing and emphasize not only teaching technique and form, but more importantly, helping our son hone a character of honor, kindness, self discipline, and team work. This place is incredibly welcoming while instilling respect and discipline in both kids and adults. My son, who is autistic, stays fully engaged with his instructors, follows directions without complaint, and has grown more respectful and confident in himself. They encourage him to make eye contact during each session, which greatly helps his focus.The instructors teach far more than just the physical skills of Taekwondo—they instill the empowering mindset of “I can do it, I never give up, and I believe in myself.” This lesson goes well beyond Taekwondo, influencing every area of his life. He now uses this positive mindset daily, especially when facing challenging moments.Our experience here has been nothing but positive, empowering, and truly life-changing!

We knew we needed to put our 5yr old son in some sort of activity and thought maybe let’s try TaeKwondo since one of our friends recommended them. The first 6 months were slow and go but now we are definitely seeing a positive change in him. He is more focused and confident in himself. The masters and instructors know how to adjust teaching styles with the different age groups and are friendly and patient. We are so pleased seeing his progress and highly recommend this dojo.

Yong-in has great instructors that care about the growth of the kids. They are very patient, friendly, skilled at teaching kids the art of martial arts and ultimately they make it very fun for the kids. They focused on teaching kids to be disciplined and respectful towards others.

Enrolling my little ones in taekwondo has been such a great experience, especially here at Yong In, where everyone has been so welcoming and the instructors are so patient with the kids. For the little kids, they work on self-control, being respectful, and stranger danger lol. It’s also a great way for the little ones to get their energy out.

Yong-In Martial Arts in Cypress staff and program are incredible! We visited many dojos before selecting Yong-In. After one, free-trial class we were sold - kind and well-experienced black-belt instructors, teaching kids and adults discipline and practice, and lots of fun! They also have a Warrior Program for students who are committing to the black belt journey. Highly recommended! 5 Stars!
